My friends and I have also been going here for years and it's always a sure bet on a good meal and a good drink.

Just recently we went on Valentine's Day and even though we had a reservation they were slightly behind on the tables. We landed up sitting at the bar and after about 10 mins just decided to eat up there.  They had a surf and turf special w/ Brussels Sprouts [Lobster and Steak] for $38 so we both ordered that. It was delicious, I was really surprised at how good it was.  Both were cooked to perfection and the price was just right!  Most places have a habit of overcooking Lobster so that it's tough and chewy and tastes terrible, they had it down!

We also went back for Sunday Brunch, sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful Bloody Mary. Big City is also DOG friendly on the outside patio. It's in a great location and accepts reservations on opentable, which makes this girl happy!  Great bar scene too! Nice selection of beer on tab and wine by the glass.

In town for a tennis tournament and stayed at the Riverside Hotel across the street.   Came across for a quick drink and bite and met Lacy the bartender.  I never visit the same place twice when out of town, simply because I love to experience all the city has to offer.  The service, the personality, the smile....everything Lacy gave us kept us coming in all 5 days we were here.   Even to get peartinis before we went to airport.  Thank you Lacy for making our experience in Lauderdale wonderful!   When we have the opportunity to come back to FLL.  We will make it a point to come and see you.   Anyone reading this, if you have the chance to visit here.  Pass right by the hostess and go to the bar and ask for Lacy!

I have eaten here a few times over the years I am surprised I never reviewed this place. Last night we went for dinner because we wanted to eat on Las Olas and there are slim picking for decent food there. Last night it probably the last time I will eat here. the food was just bad the quality was not good. I got a greek salad with grilled chicken. The kalamata olives tasted like they were from a can, the feta was not good quality. My chicken was dry and over cooked and had 0 flavor. WE really did not even eat the food. The only good thing it we got the tea and when the bottle came out they serve Republic of Tea which is my favorite company. So maybe that even gave them an extra star.
