This place is FANTASTIC!  We had a pizza, mixed greens and a couple paninis.  The prosciutto was great, and fresh mozz and tomato absolutely delicious. The bread on which they build their sandwiches and the pizza crust is to die for (I'm a snob when it comes to bread).
Service is friendly and expeditious, without making you feel rushed. The outdoor space is very comfortable and provides plenty of people watching. We came here 3 times on our three day vacation!  I never do that.  Someone has posted a comment on a $5 cappuccino - I completely agree that it's crazy - I had 2 beers for that money.   Make your coffee at home and come here for a delicious and reasonably priced meal!

I was not impressed with their signature panini - chicken presto with mozzarella.  The panini bread they serve it in made my top of my mouth sore because it was so hard to bite into.  The chicken was a bit dry.  I thought it was going to be somewhat juicy but it was just a very hard, dry sandwich. I also got a slice of their carrot cake.  Everyone else around me was eating one so I had to try it myself.  I was also not impressed with it.  I am usually not a picky eater, but I have had many different carrot cakes and this one just doesn't seem special to me.  The cream cheese icing didn't taste rich.  I did like all the carrots that were in the cake.
I didn't like the service either.  We requested to sit by the fireplace so it's warmer, but half way through, I was freezing and realized the fireplace went out of gas so I told our server about it.  Anyway, by the time I finished eating, ate my dessert, went to the bathroom, paid the bill, the gas still has not been changed.  Isn't it important to keep your customers comfortable and happy?  I did like the other servers for the other table.  They seem to be more attentive than the one I had.  I would not go back to this place again.

I have such nice memories of the original Gran Forno that when I saw this location I made sure my grandparents and I met here for one of our dates. I love the outdoor seating, and how casual it is. No pretension here! It's refreshing.

All of the staff was really friendly. There were no worries when I sat there for about 10 minutes until my grandparents got there. Our waiter was very sweet and patient.

Everything on the menu sounds good and the prices are pretty reasonable. The only thing that seems weird is that the espresso drinks are about $5- kind of high in my opinion. We shared a plain cheese pizza which was ok. I love the brick oven taste, but the dough was just a little bit too light for me (personal taste, nothing wrong with them necessarily). As a snack it did the trick though!

I would love to go back and try their other goodies like bruschette and paninis. Maybe even splurge and get a dessert!
