The Wreck Bar

The mermaid show gets: 5 stars
The decor of the bar really gives you a feel of being in a ship in the ocean. My gripe is that the bar is really small and barely holds the crowd that comes in to see the mermaid show on friday nights. Also the mermaid show brings families with lots of children which of course makes sense for mermaids however it still is a bar so if you are there to drink this would not be a good time.
Love the decor, love the mermaids, and I like how there's nothing around like it. I would just prefer a ship wrek to be more like the size of a ship than a submarine.

The best thing here was Tatjana, the bar tender. So sweet and friendly.
Friday is a mermaid show which was pretty cool to watch. The interior of this place is also very cool but here is nothing much going on

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I can still recite every sentence in The Little Mermaid, but I totally loved this place. It was overcrowded and the drinks were slow and a little expensive, but I loved the decor and the mermaid show was fantastic. Located inside the Sheraton on the waterfront, (which was much nicer than most Sheraton's I've been too), The Wreck Bar looks like it is an old ship wreck. It has huge tanks on the wall behind the bar where mermaids gracefully glide through the water. The mermaids themselves are gorgeous, with beautiful costumes and entertaining personalities. While I wouldn't make this place a regular watering hole, it is definitely worth braving the crowds at least once.
