Prices were decent.  The location makes it a 4 and the service was great.  I think our waiter was Marcell. We had the peel and eat shrimp half garlic half Cajun.  It wasn't very spicy but he brought is some dry stuff that was better and had a great taste

Pros:  premier location right off the beach, friendly staff, fun theme (Forrest Gump), restaurant is set up very well half out side half in,Outside waterfall rock structure.

Cons : not enough food, don't get me wrong the food was very delicious but the portions could use a little boost.

The Fort Lauderdale strip has hardly any decent places to grab some grub; most are tourist traps that never made it out of the 80's.  With a national chain, you assume that quality control exists at least at some level, ensuring a decent - if not spectacular - experience.  Bubba Gump was just what you'd expect:  decent food in clean surroundings.  Service here was super sweet and energetic.  Drinks stayed filled at all times; not an easy task "in season" on the beach.  Food is decent, if not great; but compared to the rest of the area, it's a haven.  Shrimp was tasty and properly cooked.  Not a bad stop for an average bite.
