My wife and I had dined at this venue a couple of years ago with a very positive experience. We returned for 2013 pre-Valentine's day dinner on Saturday, 2/9/13 and we are very sorry we returned. The waterfront patio is very pleasant ... however, even with a reservation made over a week in advance, we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our table. Once we were seated, at a very nice table, my wife's entrée was served approx. 15 minutes after me. By the time she was served I had finished my dinner because we both agreed I shouldn't wait. The waiter was somewhat apologetic, but his excuse that he didn't know the kitchen hadn't gotten my wife's order is ridiculous. When he picked-up my entrée, why wouldn't he ask about my wife's entrée? Even a beginner knows this. To add insult to injury, my Chilean Sea Bass was extremely salty. When we complained they did nothing to assuage our concerns or poor experience.  I have called the restaurant three times to speak to the manager. He has not returned my call.

Serafina has some amazing foods,we were seated outside by the water on a cool South Florida night. We started off with the eggplant appetizer which is delicious  and the main course and dessert were out of this world. This is a very romantic place it's not to be missed.

This is a lovely, small restaurant serving excellent, sophisticated Italian food in lovely setting on the waterway by gracious waitstaff.  The appetizers are ample--three can easily make a meal.  Reservations are a must for Saturday.
