Headed to Hollywood to have dinner with friends I decided to text my dear friend Tom W. to ask what pre-dinner bar we should hit up. Â He told me to come here. As soon as we arrived I realized I had been here before but it had been years. Â The outside patio was hopping and we wanted a large enough table for all of us so we sat out front on a crazy bench. Â Why was it a crazy bench? Â Picture a teeter totter, every time a person from the other side got up I felt like we were going to fly up in the air. Â Luckily we didn't. Â Made for fun conversation though.
Our waitress was awesome, wish I remembered her name. Â She loved that we sat in her section and she took very good care of us. Â We ordered several pitchers of Blue Moon Agave seasonal beer. Â Really refreshing on a hot day. Â We ordered deviled eggs with bacon and bourbon, onion petals and some flat bread. Â Typical bar food really but oh those deviled eggs were very good. Â Did not really taste the Bourbon but still excellent.
Located right on Hollywood circle, on the corner, large outside patio and big inside as well. Â Very cool place to just go and chill. Â Fun crowd, upbeat, casual good prices. Â The beer selections were not bad at all, some nice craft beers.
They also have what looked like a very nice happy hour Monday thru Friday.
Beer, food, friends, great service in a fun environment, yep awesome place!
Thanks T, gotta go together now.
Whoever said if Kid Rock were a bar, he would be this place got it spot on. Â
Service is always good. Â The 3 star rating is for the weird clientele. Some days are normal. Â Some days you think the people crawled out of the sewer to get here.
Skip the cordon bleu bites. Pretzel bites are good.
