This is a new tour group available in Fort Lauderdale. The premise is simple - you pay $30 for the group tour and you can get free appetizers and drink discounts up to 7 restaurants. They have a few options available so my husband and I tried the Himmarshee tour. We always just end up going to rok brgr when we are in that district so I never really knew what all was available in this cute little area. The tour followed the plan stated on the web site. There were 30 people in our group and the restaurants were very awesome in accommodating our needs. Each stop had appetizers ranging from tacos to wings to bread pudding to steak crostinis with styles ranging from typical pub fare to elegant foodie flavors. Drinks were usually $3 mixed drink specials made for our group to happy hour prices. Between the hosts of the crawl and the managers and waitstaff, everyone had a great time. The concept is a fun way to meet new people and explore areas of town you may not normally visit. Just be aware and pace yourself with the food because you will not need dinner after this trip!
