3 of us went on a Monday holiday afternoon. There was a large liquid spill as you came in that looked as if it had just happened, that was still there when we left an hour later. Service was adequate, but the server took awhile to get a manager to process our gift certificate. Drinks were poorly made - ginger ale was flat, they must have stored their cider in a beer keg as it didn't taste like cider but old beer, and the bottled beer was stale as if it had been chilled and warmed and chilled again. Food was okay, bar food, what we expected. Would not return, even for free.
Review Source:The only thing saving this place from a one star was the waitress. Â My wife and I decided to try this place since we had a coupon and we are always looking for good sports bars to watch games at. Â When I walked in, I couldn't believe that all the tv's were not showing sports. Â One had Fox News on it, one had a Spanish channel and a couple of others had questionable sports related shows. Â It's the first day of the NCAA tourney and I expected all but maybe one or two of the tv's to have the basketball games on. Â I actually told our waitress that they should change the tv showing Fox News to the basketball games and she agreed and even told the manager. Â He came over and asked what game we wanted on but never changed it. Â We started the meal with the buffalo chicken tenders and my wife ordered the chicken parmesan and I had the french dip. Â The french dip comes with two sides and I chose fries and baked beans. Â The tenders were actually decent but the french dip was awful and I couldn't even finish the whole sandwich b/c it just wasn't good. Â The roast beef was bland and the sandwich itself had no taste. Â The food runner that brought our food said that they were out of the beans and asked if I wanted another side instead. Â I told him to just bring another plate of fries; however, those fries never came. Â My wife asked for a side of parmesan cheese. Â Five minutes later, she asked our waitress for the cheese and she responded, "They usually make me charge $.50 extra for a side of parmesan cheese. Â But you did order chicken parmesan so I'll see what I can do.." Â I replied, "Well, since I never got my second side, can't you just substitute that for the cheese?" Â She agreed to not charge us for the cheese. Â She came back a couple of minutes later and told us that the kitchen manager yelled at her for not ringing up the side of cheese and that giving away food for free costs the restaurant money. Â Come on! A side of cheese? Â I'll give you that penny that it costs you to give us a side of parmesan cheese... Anyway, my wife didn't really like her meal that much and we both agreed that we won't be coming back here anytime soon. Â In addition, they plan on turning this place into a gastro pub which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Â They don't get the business to make that investment worth it and it's attached to a motel off the beaten path. Â Clearly, whoever came up with that idea was on something! Â I recommend trying another sports bar in the area since this one leaves a lot to be desired.
Review Source:Went in to SportsZone last night to grab a bite and watch the Heat game and we sat for 15 minutes while the wait staff were shooting the sh**. Â At least two of the four waiters looked our way and continued chatting. Â So we left. Â Couldn't tell you about the food but the service Blooooooows!
