Rendezvous

I'm not overwhelmed with the food at Rendezvous, but that isn't the reason one goes here. Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, matter of fact pretty darn good as is the service. But, the reason for going here is the perfect, pleasant picturesque view of the harbor and boats at this New River location. In a couple of words: "Stunning" and "Awe Inspiring."

Rendezvous is the only waterfront bar and grill located on Marina Mile and the only place to enjoy a good meal or drink offering a near perfect view of what is one of the more beautiful waterfront settings in the area, and this is the reason to go here.

They offer a complete lunch and dinner menu, various specialty cocktails, rather good service and, if you like, an indoor setting but if you opt for that, you'll miss out on much of the waterfront porch/patio view.

I've had their Maryland Crab Cakes lunch and also their steak dinners. I can't rave about either one, but both were solidly better than average and at reasonable prices. But the view; that I can rave about.

Went last weekend and will NEVER go back!!  The bartender was flipping beer bottles around and spraying the waitresses before bringing them to us (after visibly picking his nose).  Waitress kept pulling her shirt up and scratching her stomach.  Service was horrible and the food was not much better.  The place is falling apart and has apparently no or very little management.  Would not recommend to anyone.

My experience at Rendezvous was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary but the waiters didn't greed or asked how many in our party so we can be seated. We just went ahead and picked a spot outside with an outstanding view of the marina.
The place seemed very laid back with a spacious covered deck. The menu had variation and plenty to choice from with decent prices. The waiter recommended the blackened tuna fillet sandwich which I took her advice and ordered it medium well with fries and a cold draft beer. The results were excellent . The sauce on the side was perfect and also worked well with the fries. I also had some of my kid's seafood pasta which was nicely portioned and will recommend to anyone who love shrimps.
What I really liked about this place is that I can either drive or sail the boat to their dock. They have enough dock space for s few small boats. The locations is nice and recommend to sit the deck on your first visit.
