I went here to celebrate my recent college graduation, because my friend was having her birthday celebration here,.... so I thought combining the two would be great.
The place looks great, very "fancy" looking.
Judging from the crowd and what their waitresses wear I actually don't think this is a classy place. They do try to convey that image through advertising  but they truly failed in my opinion. ... also I saw a lot of ladies with no shoes on and  I don't think wearing flats or being barefoot in a lounge should be accepted. (that's a hazard, because anyone can step on them).
Mostly a Dominican club.
Not overly price. They have Birthday packages that are affordable, which is what my friend got and then we all just bought additional bottles. (their hookahs taste horrible, and takes forever to get a refill!!)
Overall is an okay lounge. music was great, a little bit of everything which is always good to hear. But I find this lounge to be Very small, gets overcrowded quickly. and the dancing space becomes non existence after a certain hour because everyone who didn't get a table is just standing around with a drink. smh.
Arka was an ok hang out spot back when it first opened but I think the hype died down. Â The bouncers here act like they're bouncing at Marquee with their exclusive club requirements & prices only to find yourself walking into an overcrowded, sweaty shoebox with a bunch of Dom's jumping up and down. Â Don't get me wrong, if you're still in your 20's, love you some Dom's and don't mind salsa, merengue and reggaeton music all night long, you might enjoy this place. Â I personally prefer something more along the lines of Apt 78 across the street when I'm trying to keep it local. Â Too much nonsense @ this place for nothing.
