We dine at Arni's at least once a week, but safe to say we are regulars. My kids are growing up on Arni's food and they offer a great selection. It's a nice 'night-out' for the kids and I, or a great place to hold a party or meet family. We have done them all. My son had a wonderful birthday party that is still being talked about. The service could be improved on, because I feel they are all-over the place so much and not just at our table. Everyone is nice, though. Some of the bartenders aren't as pleasant as the rest of the staff which makes for a lacking of conversation while at the bar-top, but there are some definite keepers! My kids love bleu cheese dressing now and Arni's makes their own - no more store shopping for us - we buy it there when we're out. The desserts are a great selection because of the basics and the austere. I'm not a big fan of the crumbles on the pizza, but the different selections are amazing, like the Rustic Pizza. My new favorite! They also have gluten offerings - the gluten-free crust is the best!
Review Source:As I have written in other reviews, my husband talks about Arni's as a mythical substance and we often plan out Indiana trips out with stops at Arni's. Â This was our first stop off at this one and Greenwood. Â I have to say it is one of the nicest ones we have been too. Â The inside is big and well decorated. Â We had excellent service and out pepperoni pizza was delicious. Â Cooked perfectly so that it was crisp and not too greasy. Â Really the best Arni's we have had in a long time.
Review Source:This is actually my new favorite of all the Arni's I've been to. The last few times I've gone to the old original Arni's in Lafayette, they're just not the same. The pizza doesn't come out as good or look as appetizing.
The pizza at this Arni's was phenomenal and just like I remembered Arni's should be. The joint actually looked a little classy and the service was decent. And can I say anything more about the wonderful greasiness that is an Arni's pepperoni pizza??
Sit at the bar to avoid noisy children. Their Havana sub is one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere. They do need to offer some dark beers, though.
Update: I will never sit anywhere but the bar again. Â Also, why do they ALWAYS put a pickle on my plate every effing time? Â I always specifically ask the waiter/waitress to not serve one, yet there is always one on my plate spreading its juices onto my sandwich and chips. (the smell/taste makes me nauseous)
I went to Arni's with a group, so I had the opportunity to sample more of the menu than I normally would. Â It's been a long time since I've had pizza this good--thin crust, quality toppings and lots of mozzarella--just how I like it. Â We had a classic pie of Italian sausage, peppers and onions and a less traditional buffalo chicken pizza. Â In addition to buffalo sauce, the chicken pizza was topped with mozzarella, cheddar and smoked gouda. Â I think the gouda is what made it so spectacular. Â Quite frankly, I think you're crazy if you go to Arni's and don't order this pizza. Â It's just that good. Â The Italian sausage was great too. Â Three different colors of peppers and sweet onions were the perfect complement to the sausage.
We also got to sample a salad and two sandwiches. Â Ava Rose's Chop Salad combines crisp lettuce, bacon, turkey, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, onions and cheese in a vinaigrette. Â Other than the fact that it was slightly overdressed with the vinaigrette, I really liked the combination of flavors. Â One of my fellow diners gave the Pork Tenderloin a "solid 7" for a nice, thick piece of pork and less than impressive breading. Â The Sicilian Sub also earned high marks. Â Lots of meats piled high with onions, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, two cheeses and a sun dried tomato vinaigrette--what's not to like?
