Azul

After being weirded out by The Rabbit Hole, my friends and I wandered down Main Street, thinking we could maybe bar hop a bit since we did see quite a bit of bars/lounges driving over. We all see Azul and I start pointing that we have to go there. The music was bumping and I was getting excited about dancing...but then we walked in and I was shocked. Never again. There were 2 people dancing on this sad thing of a dancefloor. There were tables and they were all reserved (my friends and I laughed at the idea that people would pay bottle service at a place like this). When large groups of people finally started to come in, it got even weirder. Maybe it had to do with the fact that we were the only Asians in there. We downed our drinks and bolted out of that hot mess. We noticed that, the more we walked away from Garfield, the more ghetto it got. Hey, at least there was no cover and drinks were cheap! Let's just say, we learned our lesson that night. Alhambra is not the place to bar crawl.

My whole group regrets walking into this establishment!!

We started this Memorial Day Weekend with a bang! We hit up happy hour, Boteco, Rabbit Hole and other near by establishments.

After leaving Havana House (Saturday night 5/25), we decided to hit up Azul next door. (mind you, Azul, Havana House, Fronteras, & Boteco all owned by the same person) Upon entering, it was extremely packed, which was good. The crowd was chill.

However, everyone and their moms were there.. Not so good!!!. Then, the security tells us (short, stalky Samoan guy)" move the fuck out of the way!!", then shouts at other paying patrons other phrases. We were not even in the way.!?! Excuse me, but this is no way to speak to paying customers. I understand he may not like his job, but he should treat people who pay his paycheck with some respect!

Before ordering a bottle and over a dozen drinks, we left!!!

We went to one of their non-owned establishments.... The Rabbit Hole, next to Boteco. We had a blast with no drama and friendly staff.

Will I return? Definitely not! This experience exemplified their non-professionalism towards their customers.

After being a loyal customer at their establishment, I have refused to step into their businesses. Sorry Al and Joao, but you need to re-train or hire new friendly staff who treat YOUR customers who pay for your paycheck (and Panamera) with more respect.

Music was ok drinks tasted good although I should have listened to the other reviews about the credit card slip our server Krystal took the liberty of giving herself 2 extra dollars after her 3 dollar included gratuity  and the 2 dollarsI tipped her on top of that. Also the bartender decided to charge my boyfriend $15 when the receipt clearly says $13 and we tipped in cash!!! I will be raising hell.  Do yourselves a favor pay with cash!
