My boyfriend and I love going to Baileys on UFC fight night simply because of all the TV's and the fact we can generally find great seats.. I cant believe the reviews on here have compliments for the staff though... Â The service here TOTALLY SUCKS.. Â There's generally never a crowd, but it will take 10-15 minutes to get a waitress to even notice you and then when you need to order another, you can expect another 10-15 minute wait... Â Yes, this is a smoking establishment, which I enjoy as Im a smoker and my boyfriend doesn't mind the smoking environment so much.. Â Food here is nothing special, just typical bar fare, but they seriously need to work with their wait staff... Â Also, see a lot of "managers" standing around and I'm wondering why they aren't walking around and policing the place for customers who need service.. Â If youre a manager, shouldn't you be managing and know whats going on in your bar??? Â Definitely don't go here if you expect friendly or good customer service cause it aint happening.. Â But if you don't mind a smoking environment and have a lot of patience and are good at waiting, this is the place for you....
Review Source:A great place to get with friends to drink some drinks and smoke ( a cigar for me, cigarettes for those that do). Â Typical bar food that tastes just as you would expect them to, no wow factor, but seriously who comes here to be wow'ed by food??
They have an assortment of video games, a ton of tv's to watch your favorite team, and a lot of beer on tap so you should be able to find one you like.
This is a cumulative review, based on my past 5 or so experiences. It doesn't bother me that you can smoke here, or that the food is typical, average bar fare. What bothers me is the service. A few of my coworkers meet here for lunch every few weeks or so. Â They are never busy, but getting drinks takes way too long. The day bartender clearly doesn't enjoy her job, and needs a reminder that she is in the SERVICE industry . Sad thing is, Baileys used to be a solid establishment. There are plenty of places on Broad St to get bad service like Baileys, but more importantly, there are plenty of places where you can get better.
Review Source:I went here with some coworkers while on a business trip. I didn't realize that it was the same thing as Fox and Hound. I'm from Illinois so I was very sad when I found out you could smoke here, it smelt bad at first but I got used to it. They do have a non smoking section but it's a really awkward space when you walk in.
I ordered the bear battered chicken strips and I had a foursquare deal for 50% off an appetizer so I got my dinner for $4, not bad! The food was good. It was a little loud but that is what you expect when you go to a sports bar. There was karaoke and a dj it appeared. Â
Nothing to complain about really, just hate the smoke
A typical sports bar that can get quite busy during college football Saturdays. It's loud and sometimes smokey (still ... how do these restaurants continue to get away with violating state law?) and the food is just average. Â If you go to drink and your team with some fellow fans it can be fun. But otherwise it's nothing special. The best thing was the wait staff, capable and friendly and cute too. But I had a run-in with a junior manager type who tried to give away my group's area even though we had reserved the space ahead of time. And getting back to the bathroom is a challenge because of the smoke.
Review Source:food poisoning.
we had that fried food sample plater with the chicken wings, pretzels, mozzarella sticks and potato wedges. the thing about fried food is, you can't tell when it has gone bad...my stomach was in so much pain
spend the night on the bathroom floor hugging my toilet, never been in so much pain in my life.
thanks bailey
Baileys is one of my favorite places to hang our with co workers after work. They have okay drink specials but the service is always pretty good and I like the atmosphere. Â
I am also reviewing it as a restaurant. I have eaten here a couple of times. They have awesome lunch specials. For $5.99 you can get a delicious turkey sandwich and fries. I call in a decent size order for everyone at work and they always get it right.
