Very good. Â The pork belly is recommended, as is their excellent oreccietthe pasta. Â The salads were very good too. Â We had a tuna special that was okay; the relish that accompanied it was better than the tuna.
The bartenders were very serious, in a good way. Â
This is a great place, among the top tier in Richmond.
The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service was lacking. As many other reviewers have said, start with the Pork Belly -- very, very delicious! Dinner was awesome, I had a white fish with black bean/quinoa cakes, cabbage and an avocado sauce, mmm!
Now, the cons about service. We were part of a large group 10-12 people, so perhaps it is better for small groups. At least one appetizer(mine) was forgotten and then an incorrect one brought out -- while it was rectified, Â it did take a little while to get our servers attention both times. My drink was empty a couple of times and I had to ask for a new cocktail. And, the last drink I ordered never arrived.
Sadly, it did not get better. Our server asked if we were ready for the check and I replied that we would like to see dessert menus. While he did bring the menus in a timely manner, he never came to take my order (I was at the table the whole time) then, I looked around, and desserts were arriving. Imagine my surprise when myself and the birthday girl did not have any dessert in front of us and while she said she had ordered hers, I had never been asked(mind you, I requested a menu specifically). I had to find the server to get her order, and at this point I was just over it and didn't get anything for myself. Very disappointing.
Another side note was that I had asked to have the birthday girls dessert on my tab. While I did have it on my tab, I also saw/heard him lean over and tell her the dessert was complimentary as though he had taken care of it... sneaky if you ask me.
