Okay, I've gone back a couple of times now, and I don't even care where the naan comes from--it's good enough, the garlic version turns out to be quite tasty, and the flavor of everything else more than makes up for the modest naan to warrant the full five stars. The beet salad was delicious, a light voluminous tangle of delicate threaded beets and apples, a subtle citrusy dressing, and generous in portion (two of us shared it and each had a satisfying pile of it.) Our omnivorous friend, a picky eater and Indian-food snob, ordered a chicken special and was blown away. I can't stop going back for that damn dal. And the sweet chef comes out to say hello, which is flat-out charming. Really one of the most consistently interesting and delicious places in town.
Review Source:This is simply an amazing restaurant. Â The food is mind-blowingly flavorful, and when they say hot they mean it! Â The chef does just the right amount of creative innovation on top of a solid base of regional Indian food. Â The atmosphere is goof and the location can't be beat. Â Bottom line: Â If you like intense creative flavors, you need to try Curry Craft. Â Also they have a great vegetarian selection.
