Taken for what it is, Belly Timber is a solid, no-frills tavern that serves a wide variety of beers (though most of the interesting ones are in bottles and cans) and above average pub food. Â The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, but sometimes that's the type of place you're looking for. Â I highly recommend the jumbo-lump crabcake sandwich, the grilled shrimp po' boy and the collard greens. Â I'll try a pizza on my next trip.
Review Source:This is such a neat space, but both the food and service are severely lacking. I can't even tell you how much I despised my service at this restaurant. Our waitress was borderline rude and spent most of the night eating at the bar while we waited to order more beers. The water girl was on point and our glasses were never empty, they should bump her up to waitress!
The food was meh, it certainly wasn't something that I would rave about. I got a pizza, the buffalo one to be exact. It was heavy on the blue cheese and lacking in the "zing" i was hoping for. Additionally, there were about 5 pieces of chicken on it. Oh well. I guess this is a place to drink at the bar and not venture out to eat at.
