Went for an early Monday dinner.  We were already familiar with Fox and Hound in Winston-Salem, and this is a partner restaurant.  Had the French Dip sandwich and the Black Forest.  Both were very good and came with their excellent french fries.  Good-sized menu with reasonable prices for food.

Service started very good, then our server wandered off.  The managers (there appeared to be two) picked up the slack, though, so we did not end up wanting for anything.  This was a departure from my Fox and Hound experiences; the managers at Bailey's seemed much more interested in working than just being in charge.  Both managers checked on us - one brought us drinks, and the other cleared our plates.  They should have gotten the tip!  Wait staff will come and go, but good managers make me want to come back for a predictably good experience.

Lots of TV's.  LOTS of pool tables.  Clearly a bunch of regulars here, as most seemed to know each other.  I will plan to return for a game and some beer...

Absolutely the worst bar experience that I've ever had! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone other than the cable TV guy who saves disfuntional bars. He could have afield day here.
I stopped in with my date tonight for my first time ever at Baily's and it started awful and got worse. Waitress came to table and asked if we wanted something to drink. I  asked what beers they had on tap. She didn't know. I asked if they had a list. They had none. She told me it was happy hour and I asked for the prices of the light beers that she did know about and she didn't know. I saw Sam Adams signs around and asked for prices. She said they had no Sam Adams. OK, how this Blue Moon on the menu. She informed me that they just dumped that one a couple of days ago. She suggested some seasonal brew named Snowy Day. How much, I said. Don't know she said. Bring two anyway, I said. Had a sampler platter. Wings pretty good. Ribs were sickening a burned. Got check and was charged $6.15 for 22 oz. mug of beer.
This is not a place I'd recommend to anyone other than a pool shooter. They had way more pool tables than tables. Not a good place to impress a date.
I'll never darken the door again.

Good for pool & watching sports.  I recently went for lunch on a Friday afternoon; our server was friendly but just couldn't keep up, the service was verrrrrryyy slow.  The food wasn't anything special.  But they do have several pool tables & loads of TVs, go for the Sports, not the Grille.

I ate there yesterday and the food was good!! They had awesome deals on their drinks making me try the Blue Moon Holiday Flavor for the fist time. The atmosphere is great and the managerial staff extremely friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is the wait time for the food. The place didn't really seem busy (even during the NBA Finals) and took their time with the food. Which I guess can be a good thing right? But I'd recommend it for someone who's never been!

Typical sports bar fare at Baileys Sports Grille.  I had the ranch burger.  Good size, good taste.  Fries were just ok.  Happy hour availble with $2 beers.  Average selection of draft beers.

Lots of TV's on sports and plenty of pool tables as well.

Great place to go for a beer and bar food.  All new HD televisions so also a great place to catch a game.

I am dying to know if Bailey's had a former life...it is built mysteriously like a restaurant...and has rather small old-fashioned restrooms for a "serious" sports bar...now that being said...Bailey's is an odd place...kinda Chief's-ish in clientele, but a small bit classier... meaning there's no dance music or barely legal shot girls...

There is the odd mix of families and bar patrons ...when you say "sports bar" to me...I don't think of rounding up the family and going for some chicken fingers and beer...I think of beer drinking, yelling sports fans...or at the least a fairly vigorous happy hour crowd...it's kind of sad and dark in Bailey's...

The pretzels we had were decent, but really we could get a whole box of them in the frozen food section, the beer was a little on the pricey side, and the service was slow...

............. Ah, just a standard Sports Bar.  Typical Sports/Bar food - usually only good when you're wasted to fill up on your belly.   Happy hour is the saving grace where all the brews are $2.  The staff is nice and easy going.  Not surprising to see several families munching away or baseball/softball teams drinking up after their club matches.
After a few drinks, it's just any o' sports bar in any o' town.  If Hooters is too offensive for you, then think Bailey's.
    Cheers.

Visiting twice in the past few months, I haven't been blown away by either experience. This is an average sports bar with pool tables and food you would expect. The wings are OK. Hot is not very. Spicy garlic has no garlic. I didn't find many toppings on the nachos though the chips actually tasted like they were made there, and recently.

The item to eat there are the pretzel's. Substitute regular mustard for the "beer-cheese" sauce as it's not too good. If it's convenient for you, I recommend it. Otherwise, seek out what's close.
