The best thing about this place is Brent the bartender. Â He wasn't sure how to make a cosmopolitan and admitted it up front, saying he'd remake it any way I liked if it didn't work out. Turns out, it was great. Â He was congenial, good-natured and efficient. Â
BAMF Sports Tavern is kind of a sad looking place, I have to say. Â The women's bathroom also smelled of bleach and ... sewage? Â An odd, unpleasant smell that kind of made me lose my appetite and not want to touch anything. Â Anywhere. Â
However, the drinks were affordable and the food was ... well, the food's actually not very good. Â But did I mention how great Brent is? Â And how affordable the drinks are?
BAMF Sports Tavern is located in a strip/shopping mall and has pool tables and other games to entertain barflies and gatherers. Â There are enough televisions to watch whatever sports game suits your fancy. Â The locals are also a great draw; they're colorful, kind and interesting. Â
So, there are a few positives, but probably not enough to bring me back, despite Brent and all.
