I have come to this theater many times (almost every time that I am visiting my grandmother in Fort Myers Beach). When a few girlfriends and I decided to visit FMB for the weekend from Miami (don't ask), we decided to see Taken II here. I told them that you can eat dinner inside the theater and that pretty much sold them the idea to come to Beach Theater.
Arrive early in order to get a table in the back as there are only like 2 or 3 so they are pretty limited. There is limited seating in general but if you have a table, it's more comfortable.
The movie theater in itself is clean, spacious, and the movie was great. The food is basically finger food and not the healthiest so just beware but nonetheless it was good! Now I deducted 2 star's and got really annoyed because the waitress never told us that the 15% tip was included. It says this on the back of the menu but when it's dark and you are trying to order who is really paying attention to the fine print? When she came to give me my receipt it was digital and she just basically flashed the total to me. Thank God, my quick little eyes scoured the whole check looking to see if there was a tip included (that's the Miami in me!) and voila! I saw it! 15% gratuity. Our waitress was a sneaky woman! Then I paid in cash, and SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME MY CHANGE! I had to ask her to give me change. How awkward! I think the next time I go here I will just be prepared that they will act like this and pay with credit card to make it less awkward.
Watch a movie with a pitcher of ice cold beer and some nice hot chicken tenders and sizzling fries is usually possible at home. To do this in a real theatre was actually quite cool. We were staying at the hotel next door and dining options were limited. So we were quite happy with the overall experience. Nice movie and food was also quite good. Will do it again when in the  area
Review Source:First run movies, very expensive!! Â VERY.
$25 admission for myself, hubby and our 5 year old. Yikes! Â
For dinner we ordered a hamburger and a chicken fingers basket, both came with fries. The burger & fries were actually very good, the chicken fingers were like the kind you buy frozen at Costco and heat up. We had water from the water fountain for our drinks (soda pitchers were $9!) and later got a bucket of popcorn. Â That set us back an additional $33. Yikes!
Thank goodness the movie was itself awesome. Â The chairs were a bit uncomfortable and since they were on wheels it was hard for my 5 year old to stay put - every time his body moved, his chair would roll!
Servers were all very sweet and attentive. Food came out quickly. Â Nice thing to do while on vacation, but not on a regular basis - my wallet wouldn't survive.
