Happy Hour all day. Â And while rail drinks suck, two-for-one Yuenglings do not.
Most of the regular food is blah, but the stone crabs are not. Â And because Pinchers employs its own fishing fleet they are NEVER WITHOUT these beauts in season. Â This means I can have stone crab whenever I want when I'm down there. Â Which is all day every day.
And the service has vastly improved in the last few years. Â Servers bust their humps to keep you happy at one of the island's busiest establishments. Â While wait times can occasionally be interminable, the servers remain perkily pleasant.
Since I'm literally here at least once a day when in Fort Meyers, I definitely owed Pincher's another star.
After reading some other reviews, I found that people did not know what to expect and were slightly disappointed. There are other "Pincher's" in the area, but this one is different, hence the "Tiki Bar". Tiki Bars are not known for their fine cuisine, but they are for their drinks and short order food. Additionally, you are directly on the large beach and walking distance to several hotels and condos. With that in mind, this place is a well earned rating of a four. Jon E. (Bartender) earns a five, due to his drinks, service, and hospitality!
Review Source:Great place for drinks and an appetizer. Awful for anything else. Slowest service on the island and dinner was simply a joke. I had a better crab cake of comparable size in Cincinnati, OH for far less money last week. Â Also, how does a place called Pinchers not have crab legs? If you need a drink coming off the beach , stop, otherwise, your money and time are better spent elsewhere.
