The name says it all. Â This is a true dive bar but it is one of the best. This is always a must stop on our "crawl". Â Friendly describes the employees no matter how tough they act.....lol. Â We have been stopping in for a number of years now and always have a great time. Â Located steps from the boardwalk it is a great place to start. Â Go in, have a few cold ones and make the bartenders ring the bell. Â They appreciate it for sure. Â They also have a small area for take home purchases and as stated their merchandise. Â Oh and if you're not into beer, try their orange crushes.......not bad...not bad at all!
Review Source:Unless you are a local biker who wants to be wasted at 10am, AVOID this place like the plague. We stopped by after a visit on the boardwalk for a drink and were immediately unwelcomed. Several locals told us we couldn't stand at the bar to order a drink. "Hey, move over-that's my buddy's spot" was a repeated phrase. Are we seriously in high school?
Review Source:Complete hole-in-the-wall, knock down, divey bar by the off pier of the boardwalk. Come in for a pint. It's Harley Heaven and a biker bar, but there's not THAT many unless it's bike week (I think it's end of summer-ish). Little rough and tumble, but a true OC landmark.
Recently, they started selling T-shirts and tanks. I'm sort of curious as to why, for years, they had no merchandise section with a name like that. For Pete's sake, 'Crabby Dick's' down the road in Rehoboth Beach practically sells more 'crudely witty' gear than they do food.
