Becker's Drive In

This is a Columbus institution that can't be missed.   While Mr. B has passed, his son carries on the rich tradition.   My favorite is a coney with cheese and a mug of rootbeer.  It can't be beat.

March is here! That means Becker's will re-open for the season. You have to go have root beer in a frosty mug. The prices are reasonable and the food is straight-forward. On a nice day, it is good to sit at the picnic table and enjoy the sunshine with a hot dog. Alexa loves the cheese sandwich.

There must be a glitch, probably because people are looking for it under "A&W Root Beer Stand". This drive in, thats right DRIVE IN (pull your car up, roll the window down, and they come to your car), has the best root beer on tap this side of the Mississippi =D So good in those frosty mugs and pairs perfect with those timeless Indiana Summers. Homemade ice cream anybody? Oh, their "Coney Dogs" as the Columbusians call them are summer splendor as well! white soft fresh doughy buns with a VERY flavorful dog, smothered in deeply rich chilly and American cheese. PINKS in LA, this place spanks you! Yes I just said that =D
