From the fresh baked bread down to my entree of housemade (daily) ravioli, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience! Â We came around 7:30 on a Friday evening and there were a few other diners in the restaurant. Â Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Â We started with the calamari which was lightly battered and fried and served with 2 delicious sauces. Â Excellent. Â The bread brought to our table was fresh and the olive oil for dipping had crushed herbs in it which made it so flavorful! Â Bonus, the have balsamic vinegar on the table as well which I added to my oil mixture.
We ordered a bottle of chardonnay and waited briefly for our salads. Â Best cesar I've had in quite some time! Â The dressing was spot on and even added uber fresh anchovies for $1. Â My boyfriend had ranch and was excellent as well.
Now on to the main event, the entrees! Â I had the ravioli special which was superb! Â I can't tell you how much freshness counts to me and they hit it each time! Â The filling was a herbed cheese, of which they have their own herb/flower garden out back, and the pasta was decadent! Â My boyfriend had a shrimp penne and it was also fresh and delicious!
I ran across them the next day at the farmer's market's opening day. Â They had a chef preparing a caprese sandwich and she was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Â I tasted it, and it as well was phenomenal! Â It means so much to me that they also take part in the community by doing the chef demonstrations and attending the farmer's market. Â Not to mention having their own garden!
Bravo, Tre Bicchieri! Â You are my new favorite!
