Otro Taco

Otro Taco is a fantastic place to get authentic, delicious Mexican food.  It's a bit hard to find but is definitely worth the effort. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in their work, and it shows.  Every dish I have tried has been outstanding, from the tacos to the burritos to the Sunday-only specials.  On recent Sundays, the special has been lamb barbecue, which is absolutely delicious in tacos or any other form you wish.

As you walk in, just take a seat wherever you wish.  The menu is in both English and Spanish, so ordering is simple and easy...choose your menu item, then choose your meat, and you're done.  Pick up your drink from the refrigerated units in the back, or treat yourself to an Horchata, and enjoy some of the best Mexican food in the state. When you're done, take your cue from the other diners and return your dishes fast-food style to the trash can along the wall.

Otro Taco gets 5 stars from me because it's one of the few places where I can take a chance on a special or menu item I'm not familiar with...and when I get my food it's always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious.  This is a good place to experiment with items you haven't tried before, you're in good hands. And if you choose to get the tacos, as I frequently do, don't forget about their excellent homemade sauces that they have available.  Chipotle is my favorite, but the red (rojo) and green (verde) are so good that I frequently switch between all three.

Okay, so it's not the most romantic place to take a date (it's next to an auto body shop), but if excellent, authentic food at great prices is what makes your heart beat faster, stop in here and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
