Best pizza in cville. I ordered the hinton and the chicken was flavorful and the toppings (prosciutto, banana peppers, chicken) complement each other really well. Crust was crispy and thin....really good

I'm going to move Belmont from 3 to 4 stars since for Charlottesville the pizza is about as good as it can get. The last few times I have ordered from Belmont the pizza has been hot, not overcooked, and the delivery has been much faster than previously. I recently tried ordering from Pizza Bellas and was really disappointed with both the hour forty minute wait time and the quality of the pizza. Belmont is definitely the best pizza spot in Charlottesville in my opinion.

Great food and service! The Cuban was great, and the flavoring on the fries was addictive!  We'll stop here again next time thru!

A couple of friends and I stopped by on a whim. The location isn't the best. We ordered a large Altavista, and it came out pretty quickly.

The Altavista has a pretty unique combination of toppings including sausage and apples. And it all worked really well together. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was pretty good. I will definitely be back to try their other signature pizzas!

Pizza was alright. Crust was a little too soft and slightly sweet for my liking. Not enough crisp in the crust as well as little to no chew to it. Sauce was also a little bland, without any spice or tang to it. I also would have liked a little bit more cheese on top to hold everything together. While I feel like all these elements were a little off, altogether it was still an enjoyable pizza.

I felt like the beers on tap were a little sparse, especially given the fact that they call themselves a pub. But they did have a couple good offerings there. I did really like that they have dart boards there. I can definitely see myself heading back there to have a beer and play a game of cricket.

Prices were average to slightly higher than average. Not a bad place to hang out and have a meal. But not really a place that I would seek out for its pizza.

ugh, i only wish i had known that this place doesn't have A/C on a 100+ degree day...they had ceiling fans and shades drawn, so at least it was still cooler than the outdoors.
service was great, food was good, had pizza by the slice.  will be back on another (much cooler day) to try their specialty pies and excellent beer menu.

I found Belmont Pizza and Pub using my Yelp IPhone app, and after calling a few places, they were the only ones who would deliver to us out on McIntire Road - and I'm so glad that was the case, because they were great.

Josh talked me through the specials and we settled on the Belmont and the Hinton on regular crust. The Belmont is like a supreme pizza with big, generous hunks of meat. The Hinton has grilled chicken, crispy proscuitto and sweet/spicy peppers, which added a great taste variation. The sauce was not too sweet, and the crust was the perfect amount of crispy/soft.

An unexpected perk was that they deliver beer! Sounds like they've got a pretty decent selection of your basics and some interesting microbrews. I asked for a six pack of the Brooklyn Summer Ale, but it turned out they only had 3 left, so I asked Josh to surprise me and put together a craft beer surprise package. He did an awesome job assembling options including Bell's Oberon and a Lagunitas.

With the pies a little on the expensive side ($18 for large), I'd probably reserve Belmont Pizza & Pub for special occasions or large group dining. That being said, I couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Go here if you want decent pizza in a relatively quiet spot with inexpensive, excellent beer ($4 for drafts or bottles of good beer, $3 for bottles of not so good beer, which they don't bother putting on tap).

Eating outside on the deck is much more pleasant than eating inside, which looks like the kind of place you might have a soccer team's end of year party.

Not the greatest location in the world, but the pizza is fantastic. The jalapeño pinwheels are pretty strong too.
