Bennett's Bar-B-Que

Very good. We both had the special Poor Boy sandwich and it was very good. The baked beans were very sweet tasting. I would get them again. The waitress was very friendly and service was quick. I think I would try the turkey next time. We would definitely return.

Discovered this place through Livingsocial.  First time visiting. Very easy to find. Lots of parking. You can tell they do major catering from all the Bennett's trucks parked outside. So that was a good sign.

The food was pretty damn good. I ordered the two meat platter. My husband ordered some meat variety platter with like five kinds of meat. My beef brisket was wonderful. Super tender and flavorful. Didn't even need to put sauce on it.  Hubby liked his huge plate too.  Also, our waitress was super friendly.

Only problem I had with Bennett's is they don't appear too clean. Like maybe the place could use a big scrub down.  I might just do take out in the future. So I guess that means I will definitely be back.

Tried Bennetts last night because it was close and was the only place that looked safe in the area. Plus I love BBQ.
Monday night and it was very slow around 6:30. Greeted when I came by a very friendly hostess. I asked to sit in the bar. There was only one regular in the bar. Bar tender very friendly and made a great margarita (also vodka tonic and a beer). Hey they have Das Boot so I had to have a beer at the end. Drinks where great! Staff and regular bar patron very friendly,

About the BBQ. It didn't totally suck. had a combo with brisket (good but dry), Babyback ribs( flavor good but a little tough) and sausage (could have been spicier). meal also came with garlic bread beans and slaw, all good.

So the place is clean and nice, staff is friendly and outgoing, drinks are good and pricing reasonable. If you are expecting the best bbq you ever had move on, but food didn't suck.
Maybe stop by to have drinks and watch a game. if it gets too late the food doesn't suck.
