This placed was packed with locals like us so you know it has to be good. The service is friendly, all smiles, and the food was fast and delicious. What impressed me was the sweetness and tenderness of the lobsters. All three of us said likewise. I had an excellent clam chowder. This is a place we'll be eating at again and again.
Review Source:Had lunch here today. Â No happy hr until 3 and my absolute not eligible. Â Drink was only $6 so not a big deal. Â Olives were emancipated. Â Cola drinks are an unknown brand x. Â Not Coke. Not Pepsi. Â A friend rejected it when he tasted it. Â He had requested a diet coke and was served the mystery soda. Â Opted for club soda instead. Â All of us ordered burgers previously suggested by other yelpers. Â Learned it was a $pecial now starting today at 5.99 including fries and mystery sodas. Â Menu price was $6.99. Â The 3 of us and one other we're at the bar at 12:30. Â We chose a table and the server was pleasant but the burgers took 30 minutes to arrive. Â Don't go here on a lunch break if you are employed. Â The burgers were very good. Â Fries average. Â Return visit? Â I don't think so. Â Call ahead for lobster prices as they apparently change daily and aren't the bargain they were just a few weeks ago. Â
Good luck Benny.
The good burger and value brought me back with two friends. Â 2 burger specials and a blackened fish with soft drinks for 3 of us was $22. Â Burger good. Â Server somewhat indifferent but quicker than last visit. Â Most clientele well beyond 70. Â Ambiance? Â I'm laughing.
My friends are always telling me how awesome the food is, but never really mentioned the service so I thought I would give it a shot. Â So very sorry I did. Â My waitress was so spaced out, it took her ten minutes to realize I was there, out of the whopping three people in the dining area, and even after taking our order, she walked past us repeatedly with out bringing our drinks. Â The manager? had to tell her to get them for us, and then he told us we should yell at her for not being more awake. Â I know he was joking but it really wasn't funny. Â
So we got our appetizer, and it was really good! Â Not that the waitress bothered to check with us. Â Burgers were awesome, so food really was good, but with waitstaff like that, even the food wasn't enough to make me come back.
Also, just as a side note, the odor of old beer hits you on the way in and the way out, so hold your breath!
Ignore all the reviews that say this place is a dive. Â If you are looking for fine dining go elsewhere. Â If you want a two pound lobster for 22 bucks this place is just fine and in fact is better that the Station House in Lantana. Â You will also find the largest selection of draft beers in the area. Â Enjoy, but please don't linger. Â Other people are waiting for your table.
Review Source:I have been a customer of Benny;s Ice House for many years. Â They recently changed to Benny's Boynton Grill. Â New ownership???.
Last night my wife and I went there for lobsters. Â We each ordered a two pound lobster, sides and beverages. Â They were delivered rather quickly, slightly warm, not hot. Â I cracked and ate the claws. Â When I broke open the body, black ooze came out. Â I called the waitress, showed her the lobster and asked for a replacement. Â (NOTE: Â IN THE FIFTY PLUS YEARS I HAVE BEEN EATING LOBSTERS I HAVE SEEN THIS ONLY SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH WAS REPLACED) Â She returned with only the tail on a clean plate and stated the cook said that the "black ooze" was normal. Â I asked for the manager. Â After several requests, the waitress said he was too busy to come out, would not replace the "black " lobster and would not adjust the check.
This is a dive with ownership that does not care about customer satisfaction. Â What was expected to be an enjoyable dinner became a horrible experience.
Perhaps the new owners think this is the proper way to treat customers. Â I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DIVE AND WILL TELL ALL THOSE I KNOW OF THIS EXPERIENCE. Â

Dive-y? Try a straight dive, maybe I got a bit scared by the over 80 set wailing away at karaoke, gerioke lol. The place was pretty dirty which Kinda bothered me, food was ok but I won't be back, beers were a dollar but damn, you do pay for it with the atmosphere. They were out of both shots that I tried to order for my crew, patron and Granma
Review Source:We came here the other night and it was the usual hole in the wall.  They have arm rests around the bar area, so that was comfy to lean on while drinking and laughing about stupid bs.  We didn't have any food because the kitchen was closed and the bartender raved about it.  I was kind of disappointed since we were hungry and didn't want to have to make another stop on the way home.  They are under new management and they are trying to bring more customers in.  Why the 2 stars?  I wasn't digging the atmosphere.  I understand it was a bar, but I was turned off by the two idiots that came in and had to stare at every single lady in there.  They thought they were going to get some action and the only thing they got from me was a middle finger on the way out.  If I were to go back there, it will be during the day when the food is available and  the horny creeps are no where to be found.
Review Source:I came here years ago with family when I was out of town for some small meals. From what I remember the food was decent even though it was mainly a bar.
Several years later I come with my Dad and Uncle, this place is truly a full on bar. It is quite large and has several pool tables in the back for you to play. The crowd is mainly older and seem to have lots of regulars.
The food tables are mainly gone from before.
All three of us ended up getting a pitcher of beer for $7.00!! Can't beat that. Â Along with the cheap beer they offer free small slices of pizza during the day. At least I thought it was free because a large pan of pizza was sitting by itself off to the side for a long time. We pounced on it right away. It was cheap pizza which I expected, nothing special.
The decor inside is your typical bar with televisions everywhere, corny signs on the walls and all stool seating. One cool thing that I don't see here in California too often is arm rests of sorts on the edge of the main bar table. So while you are enjoying your drink, you can lean your arms forward on the soft cushion!
Not entirely a place for somone in your 20's such as yours truly but decent beer prices. I might come back when I visit the family again.
