I have been eating here since they first opened as "Big Tuna"......great atmosphere and sushi is good.....but somewhere along the way, they forgot to clean. It is possibly one of the most filthiest places I have ever been to, down to the plates they deliver the food on. We had to send back sushi because the plate was disgusting with crusted old food. And we used to sit and eat at the bar, but I just couldn't take the filth in front of me as I ate. The machine they use to take orders is crusted with a THICK film of food, and it hasn't been cleaned in months-guaranteed. We have eaten there so much, we have noticed that the same dirt and dust is still in certain places. We've complained, but it seems no one cares enough to fix it. We have stopped eating from there in fear that we might eat dirty fish or something....what a shame-they had good sushi too.....

This was my first time to the Orland Park location, so I can't speak to how it's changed since changing from Big Tuna to Woow, but I can say I prefer the Frankfort location.

The spicy tuna roll was good (spicy tuna is my favorite thing, so I always judge a sushi place by that roll), but unfortunately, the spider roll was Not Good--it was very fishy and too mushy. I was actually nervous about it when I ate it, but luckily I did not suffer any food poisoning. What was amazing, though, was the Snow White roll. It was fresh tasting and seriously yummy.

The service was fine and they didn't rush us, even though we lingered till past closing time. The environment is nice and not too loud--easy to have a conversation. Still, with all its plusses, I won't go out of my way to return. When a meal is as expensive as sushi tends to be, I really have to trust that I won't be disappointed, and that spider roll has shaken my confidence in Woow.

Out of all the expensive "creme de la creme" "trendy" sushi joints in Downtown Chicago ((Japonais, Sunda, Sushi Samba, Coast, ETC))  Big Tuna of Orland Park is my favorite spot. I literally will make the trip out to orland just to fill my big tuna craving. Their Godzilla roll is to DIE FOR. I could eat it 7 days a week! And the snow white roll is just as good. Those are my top favorites but I really havent gone wrong with anything else on the menu. You would never guess this place has such amazing food because of its stupid name. They officially changed it to "Woow" which isnt much better than "Big Tuna" but dont let the name fool you this place is GOLD. I wish they would open another location in the city, even though when word would get out on the amazing sushi you probably wouldnt be able to get a reservation for months!

There are so many sushi restaurants that their sushi seafood ingredients consist of only shrimp, crab stick, and spicy tuna, then charge you $15 for its nasty food (cough* cough* Wok N Fire)  But big tuna has SUPER fresh seafood and lots of varieties of it.

Go here nowww and get the godzilla roll then thank me later :)  you're welcome!
