5 AM, crunk and needed food, sustenance to continue belligerent gambling and Bill's Bar and Burger was the only thing in close proximity inside Harrah's that was open and still serving hot food.

Rockefeller Center has a location as well, and that was the first time I ever dined at this chain. I had ordered a turkey burger and fries and recollected it wasn't so great because the burger was infused with chunks of Provolone which made it taste a little weird.

This time around, I figured I would give it a second try but with onion rings instead. Let's face it, can you really screw up a turkey burger? It just so happens that, some places can. The patty tasted like it was a frozen turkey slab of meat. It even looked frozen and not properly grilled at all. I know it's 5 AM but we were in Atlantic City I was sorely disappointed. Either that or that provolone cheese doesn't cut it for me inside that burger. The onion rings look liked they had been fried numerous times throughout the night and were very greasy. The meal was utterly awful and the only reason it was consumed was due to the fact that JD had heavily intoxicated my system. I was not in control and had no choice.

When I'm fully conscious and aware of my surroundings, never again shall I have the horror of subjecting my body to Bill's Bar and Burger.

Went here for dinner the other night...place was ok. We had a table of 4, my date and I shared a shrimp and a jalapeno burger. They were both tasty. I highly recommend the shrimp burger. We shared a plate of sweet potato fries that came out cold and were sent back. 2nd batch was hot, but they were only ok. The other couple liked their burgers and shared fries with gravy and melted cheese. They said they liked them. Only complaint I have about this place is everything is ala carte. So 12$ for a burger with no fries! Not the best deal...then again, you're in a casino so I guess it's expected.

Better recommendation is to go to McCormick & Schmick's for happy hour. The concierge scrwed up and didn't tell us there were any good places for happy hour. I had forgotten that I went there before and their burgers were excellent. Turns out, their happy hour would've been much better...3.95$ for burgers and fries, blackened cicken quesadillas, etc. Overall bills is ok, but it's a burger joint so I guess that is to be expected.

Went here after partying at the pool... It was pretty decent.. I got the standard bacon cheeseburger.. Btw it doesnt come with fries.. It was ok until i found the middle was still pink.. Didnt feel like sending it back since it was so late. I would come back since it stays open late but I will be sure to ask for burger extra well done!

    AMAZING BURGERS!!!

So l was staying w my girlfriend and another couple in Harrah's for 2 nights and because there is no microwave, getting stuffed in each meal is important as running around the casino, the pool and hot tubs and the clubs def builds up an appetite.

So we got burgers from here on the first night after the club and the burgers are juicy. Thick and meaty lol whatever, def everything you want in a burger. The price wasn't bad for being in Atlantic City, being like $11 for a burger. l had no complaints. The burger was great and it was filling and l was able to sleep on a full stomach.

The next day we ended up in the pool and hot tub and played water volleyball w the random crowd for 3.5 hrs haha. So when we left, we realized how hungry we were. We got burgers again just knowing we would be filled and it would be quick. We stopped by, ordered, played a little on the machines then got our food 15 mins later. Took it to the room, ate and got filled again and didn't worry about food the rest of the night. We ate around 6pm and l was up till 6am and didn't think of food since then.

The food comes fairly fast, the prices aren't too high as Atlantic City can be much more pricy than $11 a burger, the food was great and filling.

    Def a big fan.

Oh my goodness, the burger was good, but the fries, ooh, the steak fries, were the bombdiggity(dot)com!  De-yummy!  The service was great.  Will go back.

Bill's Bar and Burger is your run of the mill, casual place to eat. Not quite Five Guy's not quite McDonald's. I'd put the burger quality right in the middle. Bill's also has a full bar and good looking desserts.  The burgers weren't bad. They wont leave you with long lasting impressions, but they won't leave you with a bad taste in your mouth, either. They have a few options for burger toppings such as jalapenos, caramelized onions, mushrooms, bacon, friend egg and a few more. The best part of my meal was the chocolate peanut-butter bomb milkshake. That milkshake was so official I'm telling you. You could also add amaretto to the shake for almondey delight. If I do go back to Bill's it'll probably to drink or for dessert.

One of the lower end sit-down dining establishments in Harrah's (still rather expensive compared to burgers elsewhere but well, you don't have that many options!), and food is a buck cheaper if you are a Total Rewards member (sign up, its free!)

I got the mushroom and swiss burger with a fried egg, while my bf got the bacon and cheddar burger with a fried egg too. We also got a side of steak fries and a beer. The burgers were actually surprisingly good, cooked perfectly medium and I thoroughly enjoyed the steak fries although portion was slightly small.

Came out to be a little under $20 per person.

We dined here for lack of another choice at 1am.  There were 7 tables and two servers when we were seated.  It took our server 10 minutes to say "be right with you".

Once she returned, she was very pleasant and took our order quickly.  We received our food (two burgers and cheese fries) within 10 minutes.  One burger was very burnt on the bottom.  I expect that these burgers are par cooked and reheated upon ordering.  After sending that back we received a replacement in another 10 minutes.

The biggest problem was with one of the bus people.  Bill's sets their tables with a paper napkin and a fork and knife sitting on top, not wrapped.

There was a table of 3 seated to the side of us.  After looking at the menu they decided that the prices were too expensive (what do you really expect... you are in a casino).  They left without ordering.  After that, the bus person went over to the table and moved the silverware that these 3 had been touching and playing with, back to their "set" position.  No change of silverware.

Another table left after paying.  They had been seated at a table of 6 and there were four people.  The bus person cleared the table and proceeded to wipe down the table WITHOUT moving the "clean" silver.  He actually wiped in between the silverware (which had the napkins removed under them by the previous people.  He then proceeded to walk to another dirty table, find some clean silverware from that and go back to the 2nd table to set it with silverware from table 3.

Maybe i'm just a bit picky, but once a table is used the all of the silverware should be cleared and washed.

Lame. Seriously Harrah's/Bill know your stuck in the casino and options are limited so they hit you with over priced small meals. $10 for a 6oz burger. That's it. No fries...not even potato chips that's crazy. I'm also convinced it's 6oz before being cooked. Don't worry for like 4 more bucks you can add a second patty almost making it a real meal. The quality was not a problem at all just the size. I think my girlfriends fountain soda was $4! It's hard to say do not eat here cause every other option in Harrah's is gonna be significantly more expensive. This is also I think the ONLY PLACE with a vegetarian option on the menu.

I went to Bill's with a group of friends while staying at Harrah's for a weekend.  It is definitely one of the less expensive options at the hotel and one of the few (possibly only) with a vegetarian option.

I ordered the chicken sandwich with mozzarella and roasted red peppers- I thought it was okay but nothing spectacular.  My bf ordered a burger which he generously let me have a bite of- which I really mean generously because the burger was very small.  I could tell he was still hungry after because he was eating the ciabatta roll from my sandwich that I didn't eat.  I found the burger really dry and bland.  The burgers/sandwiches don't even come with fries so we ordered a side of steak fries.

The best part of the meal were the milkshakes- awesome.  We split the cookies and cream which was great.  I got a taste of my friend's peanut butter shake which was amazing.  We should have just come here for dessert!  Overall, the service was friendly and it is the least expensive option at Harrahs.

No stars this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to!! After we were seated a waitress took about 35 minutes to come to our table, and the place wasnt even that busy. She finally took our order and brought our nacho appetizer out and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life it looked and tasted like it was microwaved the day before. We passed on them then my girlfriend saw a huge rat scampering around the kitchen so we booked grossest restaurant experience ever. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!! Waste of money.

Having arrived early for Yelp's Winterfest event at Harrah's Resort, Atlantic city, my wife and I decided to grab a quick bite at Bill's Bar & Burger restaurant located inside of Harrah's. Bill's first opened in NYC as a small neighborhood joint. Bill's third location is at Harrah's. The bar offers some select craft brews.

We were seated at one of the booths. When I checked in on Yelp I received an offer for free sweet potato fries, which was a happy expectation. We quickly ordered up two burgers. My wife enjoyed her shrimp burger, but, my regular cheese burger was average and nothing spectacular. Also the free sweet potato fries were average at best.

Our table service was above average probably because they suspected we were here for the Yelp event. Anyway our total bill was $31.16 although I did not order any drink, since I was holding off for the Yelp check-in at Eden lounge. My wife ordered one beer.

So overall I consider this place to be average.

So, lets be honest: you're here because Bill's is one of the only casual-dining options at Harrah's - if it's late at night, it's about all there is. If you were at home, and it were a standalone restaurant, it wouldn't even make the list. But you're reading this because you're at Harrah's, or soon will be, so let's look at Bill's through that lens. I mean, what are you going to do, walk over to Borgata? I don't think so. Grading on that curve, it gets the job done.

The burgers are quite decent. They're smaller than you're expecting, but there's nothing wrong with them. The fries are decent. The chili is actually above average, though don't expect Texas-hot. The service is nothing to write home about, and you might have to get someone's attention to get a drink or the check.

About the drinks: they are horrendously overpriced. It's seriously like four bucks for a regular Pepsi®. Booze is overpriced, too, especially considering drinks are free 30 feet away in the casino. The food is overpriced, but not any more than you're expecting from a casino restaurant.

There is a take-out counter, which is like a drive-through in the Joe-Pesci-as-Leo-Getz sense: you're comfortably back in your room before you realize that the chili cheese fries you ordered (and paid for, according to the receipt) are really just regular fries. The fries are decent, as I mentioned, but they really need the chile and cheese to impress.

But the take-out thing lets you thwart the drink swindle. Bring the food up to your room and provide your own beverages. Stick it to the man.

Went for drinks and something greasy. Had a chili cheese dog and cheese fries. My girlfriend had a fried chicken salad that epically failed. I just dont understand how restaurants dont season their food... Like its simple shit. Great bottled beer selection though.

After a long night of partying we needed some good food to satisfy out hunger. We decided to check out Bill's as we were in the mood to have burgers.

As we walked in we sat close to the bar, but nobody came to see us for next 10 minutes. I had to walk over to the hostess and she then gave us the table at the other side of the restaurant.

We came here at like 5 in the morning, the place was still very busy. We requested water with no ice, but they ended up getting water with ice. The server almost forgot us for 10 mins and it was hard to get his attention. Finally I got hold of other server and she got us water without ice.

I ordered the BBQ Bacon burger and my friend had the turket burger and with yelp check ins we got complimentary fries. My burger was really flavorful and even my friend liked her burger. The fries were crisp and nice too.

In terms of food this place is decent, but I am taking one star away for not so good service during our stay at this restaurant!

About one of the only late night food joints in Harrahs. After a night of partying this was the only place that would satisfy my drinking ways for some after drinking food. Good service and the food came out quickly. Nice variety of combinations of differing toppings for your burger.

I had the bacon blue burger which was large portions and cooked well still medium rare on the inside and juicy. Toppings were great. Thick cut pickles crisp bacon and well melted blue and cheddar cheese. A big plus was that we got a free side of fries with our Yelp check in. My kinda fries too. Thick cut potato wedge fries. Crisp on the outside and potatoey on the inside. Just the right combination after a night of clubbing and drinking.

When I lived in the west village, I used to frequent the BBB next to 675 Bar/Dos Caminos because I thought fat burgers would help me get over my drunken state and prevent a hangover.

    Not.

So, applying the same nonsensical theorem, I hit up this spot in Harrah's after one of the AC Yelp Events...and tore down a deeelish cheddar/jalapeno burger with a basket of crunchy fries.

Yeaaaa....I felt like dyin from my hangover the next morning.

Don't get me wrong, BBB's burger was hella tasty.

I agree with most of the reviewers here that Bill's wavers between a 2 and a 3. The food is mostly a 2 but the fact that it is open late and service is pretty good bumps it up to a 3.

The food is greasy and in huge portions. I ordered a veggie burger and I'm grateful my waitress warned me it was greasy. I didn't mind it but for people who want to watch their figures...well... I guess you shouldn't be eating a burger right? I thought it was cool that they make their own veggie patties in house, none of those frozen hockey pucks you occasionally see served at places. A downfall for me: I didn't appreciate how the burger and the bun fell apart after maybe two bites. I ordered a vanilla milkshake, and that was (to my standards) out of control thick and sweet. I was expecting more of a lighter milkshake, but the one I had was maybe thicker than the consistency of a Wendy's Frosty. If you like that sort of thing, go for it.

I thought the service was wonderful. I appreciate that our server was diligent with trying to make our dinner great by remembering our orders down to the add ons specifically and checking back attentively without being annoying.

This is the only sit down restaurant open late to the wee hours of the morning (except for the 24-7 Tazza cafe), so it does attract some questionable people...but if you are craving a no frills meal late at night, this is a decent option in Harrah's.

So when we came back from Ivan Kane's Royal Jelly, we stopped here at bill's Bar and Burger. It is good drunk food. I had the spinach dip at 3 am or so. That was odd. I was really off my game at that point. At any rate, it was a french fry boat full of day-old spinach dip and like two whole restaurant service bags full of tortilla chips. Ok gee thanks.

I also ordered a sierra mist or sprite. FOUR DOLLARS. I know. I know. It is ACY. I am in a casino. I will always react with amazement at how restaurants can charge four dollars for essentially a red solo cup worth of carbonated high fructose corn syrup.

Samantha G. gave me a slice of her chili dog. That was delicious! I totally enjoyed that.

Other than that, meh, I've experienced better.

Definitely have to bounce this up to 3 stars. We were all a bit drunk from the Yelp weekend here in AC and needed a big sloppy burger after the Party at the Pool. As it is the only place to grab a bite to eat open really late we headed there and grabbed a table. Maybe it was the booze talking or they have really stepped up here since my last visit but that was a good burger!  Bacon and cheddar and cooked just right!

The place was crowded but our waiter had no problem taking our orders and bringing them over quickly. Added bonus was the free french fries when checking in with the Yelp ap for this weekend! Fries aren't great but hey they were free. I still think it's a bit pricey here, but heck, you are paying casino rates!

Will definitely come back next time I am staying at Harrahs, it's late, and the carnivore in me craves some burger meat!

This was the perfect place for a late night dinner.  We didn't want the take out and we didn't want anything fancy and this was right in between.  As part of a yelp deal everyone got a burger with free fries, and $3 miller lites.  I went with a veggie burger and it was actually really tasty.  The steak fries and the sweet potato were good.  Everyone was satisfied with their meal and ready to continue the shenanigans.

I waiver between 2 and 3 stars on this one. Everything was just alright. And the overall experience was meh.

The good news is that it's open late. So you can get that greasy food you're craving after a long night of partying. However, as it's the main place in Harrah's that's open late, that also means you get a restaurant full of groups of drunks.

We were seated promptly. But our server wasn't quite so prompt. And he had to be reminded about items we ordered. But he wasn't hard to flag down or anything, so it wasn't too bad.

While this may be a burger spot, I opted instead for a hot dog. The chili cheese dog was actually pretty good. The burgers that others in our group ordered didn't look particularly appetizing to me.

Note: Everything is a la carte. So if you want fries with your burger or hot dog, you have to order those separately. The fries were alright. Crispy and seasoned ok. They got significantly yummier when dipped in ranch.

So overall, if you're drunk and starving and staying at Harrah's, this place will do.

Came here Saturday night and to my surprise, the service and food were pretty great. We were seated immediately by the manager at one of the high-top tables. We were only looking to munch on small things so we got a burger and fries to share for three people. My fries were crunchy and warm, the burger (which I didn't eat) I was told was not that bad.

    Right on, 4 stars.

To be honest, i think it's because they knew we were there for the Yelp deals for $3 draft beers and free fries that we got the great service. At least, that's my theory. So when our bill came, we noticed that the two beers we had ordered were charged for $5 each instead of $3.

We had that verified by our server and he said that $3 draft beers were only if you sat at the bar.

Thanks for that minor tidbit that I didn't receive when we first ordered. -________-

    3.5 stars.

This review is based totally on the burger and the convenience (and maybe the cheese fries as well.  If you are in Harrah's then you must check out this place.  The burger, although not huge was a top 5 burger for me.  It was juicy, delicious and prepared correctly both times I was there.

However, there is a caveat, I was maybe a little intoxicated both times as it was well after 4am on either occasion.  Whatever, the burger is great and I stand by that!

The cheese fries were good but see the last paragraph about outside influences that could affect my decision making abilities.

I actually liked my meal(s) here even more than my experience at the one located in NYC in the Meatpacking district. I came here for lunch and also sampled their sliders at a Yelp event. First, the service was unbelievable. Our waitress was so kind. We went with the chopped salad with a turkey burger on top and a regular salad with crispy chicken. Both were really good. The fried chicken on top of the salad wasn't deep fried more flash fried with barely any crust. It was friggin' amazing (there goes my diet). So juicy. The salad itself was pretty generic while the chopped salad was a bit more jazzed up with chickpeas, cukes and some other veggies. The burgers and fries looked unbelievable. Definitely a great spot to grab a casual meal. It is expensive but, this is a casino, everything is jacked up.

On a side note I sampled their sliders at a private event at the hotel. HOLY CRAP they were amazing. Yes please. Get the burger. It will be worth the caloric intake.

I went there this past weekend.  My woman and I both got salads.  She got a mixed greens or house salad (I forget what they call it) with crispy chicken.  I got a BIl's "something or other" chopped salad with a veggie burger.  Both were adequate in flavor, and large in size.  Price wasn't great, but what do you expect on the floor of a casino.  The waitress was really nice.  Water refills came quickly.  The burgers and fries that went to tables all around us looked and smelled good.  If you're in Harrah's, then Bill's is a decent place to grab a bite to eat, but don't make it your destination.....

Before the happy hour at Eden Lounge, my boy and i had to get some grub. Given the fact that Bill's Bar and Burger was right next door, this was a no-brainer. Place is very spacious with some flat-screen TV's scattered around.

I ordered the swiss & mushroom burger that comes with 3 slices of pickles on the side. My friend opt'd for the sliders and we shared onion rings with wedge fries. It was actually a solid burger which was cooked perfectly medium.

Our waitress was extremely helpful & friendly. All the makings for a good restaurant. A return trip here if I'm at Harrah's? You bet!

The burgers are, quite honestly not any better than you would find at a good NJ diner. My husband got a chicken dish, which was, again, nothing special.

Service was pretty terrible, I really get the feeling our waitress was trying, but the tables are crammed in together, they had pulled up random chairs to accommodate larger parties, and honestly, she just couldn't even get to us sometimes. I also think she was overwhelmed and the place was understaffed. It is very frustrating when the beer I order to go with dinner shows up AFTER the meal is over. Afterall, I still have to pay for it, and now I no longer want it. grrrr.

The only advantage I can see is that the prices are better than you would expect for being inside a casino. The PRICE of the food I would actually call reasonable, comparable to a high-end burger place like Zinburger. The beers are more expensive than you would pay in a regular bar, but much cheaper than a casino bar.

I've been here several times, and I think it's one of the better places for quick eats in the Marina section of AC. I've only sat at the bar, but the service has been fine, and the bear selection is strong. For those complaining about the price... it's casino. The prices were exactly what I expected when I sat down.

Burgers here are average or better. The two things I'd recommend are the chili (made with brisket instead of ground beef. More sweet than spicy but good) and the shrimp burger which is really flavorful. They use whole shrimp in the patty which I like too. They are open late, and give you what you'd expect so I'll be back again

This place would get a 2 if it were not for the fact that they are open so late.

Food: burgers are bland and a little small, fries are okay. I've also had their disco fries and cheese fries which are, again, okay. If you're drunk while eating any of this though, it doesn't matter because it will probably taste amazing.

Service: I've only sat down to eat here twice but service wasn't consistent. The first time our guy was great and attentive. The next time, our waiter kept going missing - so much so that as we were trying to find him to get our bill, we were tempted to get up and leave without it. I'm pretty sure we could have done it and gotten away with it, as he didn't show up for another 10-15 minutes and all the others waiters and waitresses kept ignoring us.

I like that they have the option for takeout because it means not having to leave the hotel to get some hot food at a late hour in a state of drunkenness. This definitely isn't a place to go out of your way to eat at. The only reason I've had food from here so often is because I stay at Harrah's frequently.

I got some corn dogs and fries. I was so excited for the corn dog (thinking I get only one, but I got 2!) because I haven't had one for years. They did forget my honey mustard sauce, though.

Why they get 3 stars is because many of our orders got lost. My and the girl beside me's fries never came out. We had to try to track down our waitress and figure out what was going on. Another of my friends ordered some food to-go for later tonight and that one didn't come out for awhile, so we again had to track down our waitress.

Be prepared to look for your waiter/waitress when coming here.

Two stars is accurate.  But it is open late so they get a totally undeserved bounce up.

The burgers are not big.  Kinda small.  I am sure that someone can respond and say that they are some scientifically accepted weight or something, but I don't care, I am not a person with a huge appetite and after eating a burger, I was SOOOOOO hungry.

The fries just made me mad.  They suck.  I ordered Onion rings another time.  That is right, I gave them a couple of shots.  The onion rings were horrible.  That was warm.  The colder the onion rings got, the more disgusting they became.

I gave them some shots and each shot missed.

They had a big happy hour sign.  Note to self, drinks ten feet away on the casino floor are free.  Someone tried to order happy hour drinks from the sign.  They said it was only during games.  It was SOOOOOO DUMB.  False advertising.  I don't know what was more alarming, the total disregard for their own sign or the fact that the people trying to order did not just go get liquor at the casino.  Either way, it was a wow moment.

They have their own beer.  It is cold COLD ASS.  Seriously.  I asked what beer was on tap and the bartender said "COLD ASS BEER".  Funny.  Big Sign saying they serve cold ass, not so funny.  Cold ass beer did not taste like cold ass but was cold.

What the hell am I saying, I have no idea what cold ass tastes like.  Honestly I don' t want to know either.

This review is becoming as odd as my experiences at Bill's.  The bacon burger was good, it just was not big.  However, this was no Theo Huxtable burger place.

Came here twice, once was at about 4am though.  This review will mostly be rated on  my more sober expedition.

About 5-6 of us came for food, we ordered nachos and artichoke dip for appetizer.  The dip was meh, and the nachos were okay.  There was something about them though that made you want to keep eating the, even though they were lacking a key element of taste.

I ordered a bacon and cheddar burger, medium, and we ordered steak fries, as everything is a la carte.  The steak fries, not that good, and the burger, there was nothing really too it.  I only really tasted my cheese and bacon.  Everyone I was with though seemed to enjoy, but i've had numerous better burgers.

Really was not worth it....  burger was flavorless, and my wife ordered the sliders... and they just didn't sit right.  Fries were also extremely salty.

the worst part was that we ordered take out (to eat in the room)... food was ready and came out... but it sat at the window for 10 mins... because they had run out of bags!

So, on top of everything else... food was cold also.

they were nice enough to give ice, and a lot of condiments for the food.

After sleeping in and missing all breakfast options (does anyone ever eat breakfast at breakfast time while in Atlantic City?) we opted to hit up Bill's Bar and Burger.

My man loves sliders but they were out of them that day.  We were both a little perplexed by that.  If everything is made fresh in-house, then why would they not be able to make three/four mini burgers instead of one regular-sized one?  We both ordered the classic burger but he added sauteed onions and mushrooms to his.  True to form, his was falling apart within minutes.  He just rolled with it and knife-and-forked it. Both of our burgers were cooked medium and were seasoned nicely. The disco fries were fugazy. Steak fries (no problem there) with cheese whiz and not-so-great gravy (problem there).  Even though we were both ravenous and ate them all, we mutually agreed that we've had much better disco fries back in our clubbing heydays.

Food arrives surprisingly fast at BBB and the waitstaff was pretty attentive.  I think our bill was $37.  Needless to say, we didn't order any alcohol (yet).

If your carnivorous side is calling and you feel the need for a burger, then this is a viable option for you. I should also mention that they offer salads as well as veggie burgers for you herbivores. : )
