We came here for a bachelorette party and glad we did. First off, service was great. OUr waitress was super friendly and gave us such helpful nightlife hints. There definitely is a fishy smell when you walk in, but u do get used to it. They have outdoor seating even though we didn't take advantage of it. They have $10 buckets of coronitas or bud light lime. Calamari - flavor wise was good, but a little too greasy for my liking. I had the oyster starting with the R- and it was great and refreshing! I also had the flounder sandwich which was delicious just a bit messy. The bill was very cheap which is an added bonus. Overall, good experience
Review Source:We really enjoyed this restaurant as we both tried oysters for the first time! Â We tried two kinds and enjoyed the New Jersey oysters the best. Â We also had a half pound of peel and eat shrimp which was very good. Â The white sangria was refreshing but it was not the best we've had. Â We asked the waitress if anything else on the menu is from New Jersey and she recommended the tomato salad and the scallops. Â The tomato salad was good, but the scallops were amazing! Â We had them pan-seared with the lemon sauce. Â They were cooked perfectly as they were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Â The scallops were a great ending to a very enjoyable dinner experience. Â We will definitely be trying oysters again!
Review Source:I do not eat seafood so I got the buffalo chicken Caesar wrap and it was good!! We did order the calamari to start, which I will only eat a few whenever it's ordered, and I wasn't a big fan of it here. Â Everyone else I was with liked it but me, not being a big seafood eater, found it to have a slight chew to it. Three others got the burger and enjoyed it. One person had the flounder sandwich and she really liked it. One person had one of the oysters as well and found it to be tasty. The meals were good.
The atmosphere was kinda muggy. Where most of the dining area is is right by doors that open to outside seating so since ppl were in and out the air wasn't working great. We were going to sit outside but since it was muggy outside we chose to sit inside. We should have just sat outside..at least there would have been a breeze. It is an oyster bar and seafood place, but just be prepared for the strong fish market smell as soon as you walk in. Â You do end up getting use to the smell.
The waitress we had was super nice and happy!! We were there for a bachelorette party and she was giving us suggestions of places to go that night. Very friendly staff and super nice when we called to say we running a little late. Reservations were also easily changed from 6:30 to 7:30 when we realized we would not be hungry and ready for 6:30 dinner.
