Waiting for our meal to come out. Waiting waiting waiting! For the prices on the menu, the service and decor should not be this crappy. Food was nothing special and totally overpriced!

Been here several times. The food is amazeballs - will blow you away. The prices are fair, food is fresh and as farm-to-table as possible (including making their own condiments in-house). Beer list is "refreshing" (lol) and you will not be dissapointed by their patio! So glad this place exists - highly reccomend movie night on Sundays too.

I  really like this dark and hipsterish gastropub. Last night was my second time eating at Birdsall House. My husband and I started with a flight of beer. Original Sin Cider (awesome), Avery IPA (awesome), Some sort of Cream Ale (warm and yuck), Lagunitas Sumpin Sumpin (a hoppy wheat that's crisp and refreshing) and darn I've forgotten the last one! For our appetizer we shared the Hudson Valley Cheese Plate. The three cheeses on the plate were all super tasty; one soft, one hard and the other semi-soft.  They came with a small sliced baguette, a fig spread that was one of the best things I've ever eaten (it was spiced with cinnamon and tasted exactly like fall) as well as thinly sliced apples, grapes and spicy almonds.

For my entree I ordered the Hemlock Hill Burger on a Challah Bun. It was served with house-made ketchup and mustard (!). It's the little things, right?  The mustard is spicy and honey flavored. It's got caraway seeds in it that are really fun to crunch on and add great flavor. I asked for my burger medium and it was a bit pink inside. It was extremely flavorful and fresh. The fries were also fantastic; crispy yet thick and a little burnt around some edges. Now that I'm writing this review, I'm realizing even more so how much I really enjoyed my meal. My husband wasn't as happy with his choice. He ordered the rib-eye and said it just wasn't a great cut of meat. The rib-eye was served with a cold potato salad that I tried and thought was kind of bland. We both enjoyed the greens on his plate.

For dessert we each ordered a slice of chocolate pie (Gluttons!). The waiter actually laughed when we told him we each wanted our own. What can I say, I don't like to share dessert. The chocolate cake was extremely underwhelming. It'd obviously been stored in the fridge or freezer and it was tough and tasteless. The frosting didn't have much of a chocolate flavor; I think the butter overpowered the sugar and cocoa.

Overall, this place is great. I think we didn't order the right dessert. The place was busy but not overcrowded and we didn't have to wait for a table. I will return.

Nice place, a very original menu with good meat and no meat choices. I had the chicken sandwich with a side of polenta. Both were excellent.

Very rustic looking restaurant with casual atmosphere. Staffs are very friendly, welcoming smile is extra bonus to get whenever you talk to the staffs who works there. We ordered glass of wine and beer. I liked coffee porter beer, it was very tasty. But my wine glass was smell like stinky rat, wine taste was okay but I couldn't handle the smell of the glass.  Anyway they changed it to new one after I complain.

I had birdsall Ruben sandwich, it was good but I felt bit overpriced. Pulled pork nacho was good also but portion was kinda small. Waiter brought us condiment rack with house special mustards and sauce in it. I didn't even open up because cover were kinda messy.
Overall, it was decent foods and large selection of beers. Service was great. But I didn't like the fact that I got stinky wine glasses and messy condiment jars.

Truly extraordinary . . . basically beer and bar food, but the best of its kind. Among my table of four, we agreed that that the reuben sandwich was the best ever and the burger, fries and chicken wings were among the best ever. Instead of groaning that we don't need a meal like that again for a while, we're planning a rapid return.

I've been here about 10 times and have never been disappointed.  This place is a truly a Five Star gastropub.  The Reuben and the wings are the best I have ever had.  The fries could be served as their own appetizer.  There is a serious chef working the kitchen and an equally ambitious staff running the bar.  The BH doesn't serve average pub grub and the pricing reflects that fact.  BH is easily one of the best restaurants in the area.

We came on Yelp recommendations. Had an early Sunday dinner. It wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and patient with our menu questions. She was enthusiastic with her recommendations and seemed genuine. The space is an open retro bar/diner space. We ordered the organic chicken sandwich, the beet and grain burger, and the pulled pork sandwich. All were delicious though the sandwiches were all so big it was hard to open up wide enough to take a bite! Fries were also delicious!

I have been to the Birdsall House several times, and always for dinner.  The Birdsall House has a soft spot in my house, as I am the first amongst my friends to discover this place, but I have noticed things starting to slip unfortunately. This time around my wife & I went for Sunday brunch and we were sure surprised...Let's get to the FSA (Food, Service, Atmosphere)

    Food:
I ordered the brunch special, which included a draft from their rotation of superb microbrews.  The only issue I have with their beer selection is the majority are over 7% alcohol.  I can't get knocked out after one can I? Brunch was 2 courses, and 1st course was chicken liver pate with a cherry sauce & toast.  This was very delicious, and the acid from the sauce really cut the fat from the pate.  I followed it up with a housemade sausage, egg & cheese on a bun with fries.  Their sausage patty was juicy with great spice.  The grueyere cheese & egg were perfect, and love how they cut their fries with the skin on.  Sea salt is a bonus.  Very satisfied.

    Service:
Service was good this time around, but on occasion it can be slow, and they frequently forget to provide silverware or condiments (if needed).  Staff is always friendly

    Atmosphere:
Hipsterbia abound here, but I don't mind it at all because it is dark, warm, & casual inside.  I think there is original tables, chairs, and floors from original establishment. Not good for big groups unfortunately, I think largest they can accommodate is 6? But it was nice outside so we at a table in the sun (most are shaded with umbrellas).
In the evening be sure to get a reservation because it gets packed quick.

If I was within walking distance of the Birdsall House, I would come almost every nite.

Expensive is where I will begin.....however great nachos and fine beer selection. Have only been there once (not during the warmer seasons) so im sure this review will move to 4 stars simply because the outdoor area looks like a relaxing place to have some beer and an appetizer. Home made ketchup is the only ketchup i like but the beat burger was very disappointing to me.

p.s Those nachos were truly magnificent if you are not watching you health for a night

I've been to Birdsall House a number of times and have never been disappointed with the food.  Today I went for the first time for the Sunday brunch, sat outside on the patio and have to say it was all great.  I cannot believe for $ 19.00 what you get for brunch.  Will definitely go back for that.  Servers were attentive, did not have to wait forever for the food or drinks to arrive, it may be my new go to place for weekend brunch when I'm not making it myself.

Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch. They have a great craft beer selection and I had the Peekskill Simple Sour. I had their grilled cheese with the short rib chili they had on that day. I asked if they could add bacon to the grilled cheese and it was heaven; perfectly prepared. They do have a separate brunch menu but most of their lunch/dinner offerings are still available. I enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and the food goes hand in hand with their beer selection. The bartenders and manager are very helpful as well. Definitely need to visit again.

My friend suggested this place and so we decided to go here. I was very impressed with everything.

You walk in this place and it feels like a good hangout spot. there are two huge sunroofs which bring natural lighting in this place. if they didnt have them this place would feel a lot different. We were told we could sit anywhere in the restaurant so we sat in the corner.

We got our menus and there were on a little clipboard. i thought it was pretty creative. They serve brunch on Saturday which is pretty cool, but i opted out because i was wanting lunch. Their beer selection is crazy big. they have about 20 beers on tap and about 20 from the bottle. They definitely have a wide selection of beers.

i ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my friend ordered the Reuben sandwich. I thought my sandwich was very good. they put cole slaw in the sandwich which was different but tasty. My friend said the Reuban was good and by the looks of it i wish i could have ordered both mine and his. they also served us their house made ketchup and mustard. Wow! the ketchup was more tangy and it had a little spice to it. The mustard was like a honey mustard and it was more sweet than anything. I should have asked what they put in it but i guess i will have to go back!

I would definitely recommend this place!

First time here and to Peekskill for that matter. Interesting town.  For lunch I had the corned beef rueben sandwich and a couple of pints.  Corned beef reuben sandwich was excellent with thick chunky pieces of beef, cheese and a tasty remoulade served between wonderfully toasted slices of sour dough bread.  My friend had the charcuterie plate which he exclaimed was excellent.  Shanna at the bar was really friendly and service was great.  Ambiance seems to be a  bit of a throwback, and be sure to check out the original deed for the property dating back to to 1760's.

ok ....so i heard that this bar was a sister bar to The Blind Tiger ale house in NYC. So while in Westchester County on biz I made my way over to check it and some fine craft draft . I walked in a sat at the bar for 15 minutes without any staff member even seeing me. I watched the bartender make a pot of coffee and serve it to a table of 3, talk to them , walk to another table , talk to them , go to kitchen , go behind bar , too busy to say hi or I will be right with ya.......20 minutes sitting there I got up and left.
There was maybe 15 to 20 people in bar ....by no means packed or jammed. did i mention the chef and what appeared to be an owner or manager were standing at the end of bar doing NOTHING while all this was unfolding  ??? YEA !!
    goodbye !!

impressed by the atmosphere. Has a very tap-house feel , upscale and trendy. Slow service as far as I experienced. Some off items on the menu that weren't very appealing to someone who isn't very adventurous. What threw me off is all the butter they used on the rolls of their sandwiches. The grilled chicken sandwich probably had three sticks of butter or more within the roll, they should warn their patrons. My beer was room temperature, and they ran out of the one that I wanted to try. I tend to put them down pretty quickly, however it took a long time to get refills. In my mind, skip it - for a meal. It's worth a trip for their maple bacon ice cream though.

I always wanted to try this place but have never actually planned to come here. Last week, we came here because we attempted a different restaurant at 7pm (PB) but it was packed with seating only available at 9 pm... SO we decided to try here since its on my bucket list of restaurants to try.

Since we didn't have a reservation we were seated at a tiny table right next the wall in just before the bar. I felt a bit secluded, but it was okay - we were at least happy to be seated.

My hubby really wanted to watch the hockey game which was on at the back of the bar (and we were positioned in spot that was very hard to see the tv.) every time the front door opened I got a gust of wind that chilled me to the bone... When our waiter came over we asked him if he could turn the heat up and put the game on on the wall instead of the weird moves that were playing but he said he wished he could but those had to stay on. He took our order and went away for a second, only to return telling us there was a free table towards the back with a good view of the the tv. I got to sit next to the heater so I was very happy.

We ordered a bottle of red wine that we had never heard of before and started with Mac n cheese (OMG was it good). I had the Pulled Pork and hubby had the Reuben. I ate my fries with their relish mustard and spicy ketchup... Sooo good.

We had the LEMON TART pie with the earl grey ice cream. (I stress the lemon tart bc it was very lemony and very tart) I didn't care for it. The ice cream tasted like frozen tea - it was strange but I liked it (he did not)

I would have given a 3 star rating but the waiter moving us is what got them a 4 from me. :)

Came here with four friends after a really long, strenuous hike near Breakneck Ridge.  All we wanted was some good beer and great food. And boy did we get it.

They have a great selection of craft beers that even some of the larger beer places in Manhattan or Brooklyn don't carry. I had the Bottleworks 13th Anniversary Ale, which was packed with all sorts of different flavors, stemming from an array of hops, grains and other flavorful ingredients.

For food I got the shrimp and grits and it really hit the spot. It was a bit too buttery and the sausages that came with it weren't that great, but overall a great dish. My friends had burgers and sandwiches which were all really good as well.  The place also makes their own ketchup (which is so so) and mustard (which is much better than the ketchup).

The service was friendly, albeit a bit slow even though there were only a dozen customers there. The ambiance was also a bit weird with with the lights being way too bright, music being way too low, and movies on the projection screen being on mute.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, but I'd probably tell them to get there during happy hour when there's more staff and a slightly more happenin' environment.

Charming brunch spot, hitting on all the trending terms of the restaurant world; local, seasonal, and organic, all while remaining delicious.

The $19 brunch includes a bloody mary, mimosa, or beer, along with an appetizer and entree. I went for the bloody mary which was spiced with horseradish leading to an overall cocktail sauce. While I prefer the heat to come from Tobasco, the presentation was great and the heat level was appreciated. Beer drinkers rejoice, their expensive menu seemed to have something for everyone.

To start I had the chicken liver pate, served over cherry preserves and alongside a section of warm baguette. If you don't like chicken livers you won't like this, on the other hand I enjoy chicken liver and really enjoyed it paired with the sweetness and tartness of the cherry preserves. The bread was great as a vehicle for the pate, but wasn't anything special on it's own. Overall the dish was delicious, but incredibly messy and NSFWS (not safe for white shirts). As a careful eater I was able to avoid spills, but would have had a much easier time eating it if the bread full full sliced into individual pieces. I was also able to try the house made chorizo with mixed greens. The chorizo was smaller than anticipated but packed full of flavor.

For the entree, I ordered the pear & walnut pancakes, eggs, and bacon, and split it with the beet and goat cheese burger. The pancake breakfast was amazing; pear and walnut generously mixed into the batter, eggs perfectly cooked, and bacon cooked to where I like it (not crispy). The beet burger was rich, almost too rich between the caramelized onions and the schmear of goat cheese, but the texture of the burger and sweetness of the beets left me full but craving a real burger. Many veggies burgers lack meat-like texture but their savory flavors allow the imagination to be tricked, on the other hand this plate wouldn't satisfy the palate of someone craving a stereotypical burger.

The cocktail menu looked incredible. The bloody mary was enough for me, but the bartender was kind enough to mix me a ginger soda with lime from the house made ginger syrup and club soda.

Really great beer selection and amazing food. The wait to be seated is a little out of control though/. We waited an hour even though we called and made "reservations" which I was beginning to think was just the hostess humoring us on the phone. Friday and Saturday nights are packed I recommend getting here at 6:30 or earlier, you'll be glad you did because the chili and grilled cheese is amazing!

Took a ride up to Westchester to do some leaf peeping, pumpkin patching and mother in law appeasing.  Drove through Peekskill, and let's see, is there anywhere to eat around here, is there... oh, look, a bunch of people sitting in a garden next to a... what is that?

It was a lovely crisp fall day, so we chose a table outside, which was great for our three year-old.  This being Sunday brunch, I availed myself of the $19 prix fixe, which included a beer, an app, and an entree.  What with Birdsall's extensive drinks menu (and fact that my MIL was with us), I opted for a Bronx Rye Pale Ale, a fine choice, although not as hoppy as I'd hoped.  The app was a bowl of smoky brisket chili, plenty of cheese and plenty of beans -- a satisfying treat.  Entree was corned beef hash -- but nothing from a can.  This was real beef hash, mixed in with crispy Yukon nuggets and caramelized onions, certainly one of the tastier hashes I've come across.  The bacon was a bit on the limp side, wallowing in what I believe was apple butter.

The others opted for sandwiches, I believe, and it's a credit to Birdsall that the toddler devoured most of what appeared to be a gargantuan grilled cheese sandwich.

After brunch, we let the child run amok among the picnic tables in back, and I observed a sign (beside the garden gnome) claiming that all of their meat came from a local farm.  This is not hard to believe, given how tasty it was.

Birdsall appears to have live music and a thriving bar scene.  I'd say I'll be back, but for the fact that date night these days doesn't last more than a couple hours, and driving to Peekskill and back might just expend the majority of that.  Glad to know it's around, though.

This place is awesome! The food is out of this world, the best part of the whole experience. Hats of to the chef. Not only is it local and SO fresh, but flavors are put together well.  I definitley recommend eating outside if you can get a table, which I unfortunately did not.  The atmosphere inside can be a  bit loud and overwhelming if you are trying to chat and enjoy dinner (as it is a bar).
I thought the price point definitley matches the food but the level of service can be brought up a notch. Our server was friendly and nice but wasn't able to answer questions about the food.  I expect a certain level of service when you are spending these prices and ordering appetizers like cheese plates, entrees, drinks etc.

[I'm commenting from more of a 'nightlife' perspective...]

I've eaten here during the day and while some items are a bit pricey, its made up for in quality and taste. Super ingredients and nothing heavy is always a plus!

Bar and nightlife goes, it's not quite my scene.  I call this place 'hipster chic' because they often have live bands, and they are more popular for their wide selection of craft beers.  I love beer but just not IPAs, and anything too strong; thus I am not the best judge here.

Wines and mixed drinks are great though, but can be a bit on the expensive side at $8+ per drink (even a small gimlet is over the top in price personally.)

I'm more the type to wear heels and get a little dressy to go out but here the attire is more in the range of converse, funky beanies and assorted headwear, jeans and often flannel.  Good for the comfy times but not my go-to bar.

Outdoor area is cool for warmer weather, inside can get crowded as the space isn't overly large.

pros - couple of nice vegetarian options on a menu, huge beer and drinks selection, nice service,  blackened tofu sandwich was zesty, spicy and was made with really awesome bread. Beet and grain burger was very interesting, nice and fries were close to be perfect.

cons - place leaves impression of being really overpriced for this area and ambiance of the place does NOT match the price level. We were sitting outside and it looked like place were not cleaned good (floors were rather dirty from previous parties, things bunched up in the background like its somebody's backyard and not restaurant, i.e.not fancy at all. With some exotic drinks and some special entrees you can easily spend 100+$ for 2 in there and place doesn't match it with ambiance and perfection.

another "con" - food were good-OK but not WOW. Salad were crisp and fresh but dressing was seriously overpowered with vinegar. i wasn't able to eat it (don't like vinegar). Beer my husband ordered (tap) was not the freshest as he had mentioned. Tea I ordered was super strong without offered option to add water on my own taste (tea bag in my little cap was enough to make it for 4 ppl - never saw such a big single tea bag in my life before).

in general - not bad - but not so good either - a OK

    Great Summer Spot!

Went here this past Saturday for a Rendezbooze with old friends.  First thing I liked was the amount of seats at the bar.  I looked around and there were numerous booths and tables as well.  But I was even more excited to see the seating on the patio and "backyard"--where there were tables that could seat groups of 15, when I stepped outside.   Room for seating get's 5 stars. I noticed heaters around which was also assuring since I get cold easily.  All in all, it was a great night for our large group, and next time I'll be sure to try out the food!

I always go with the Beet and Grain burger - ALWAYS.  It is fantastic.  I can't speak to much else.

Excellent beer selection and good atmosphere, though as others have said, it can get a bit loud.

My main complaint is that the bill can add up quickly - if you get appetizers and beer on top of an entree or sandwich, it'll be at least $60 for two.

Mind blowing every time!  Great American tavern fare with a hint of American culture from various regions.  They do some traditional items like their juicy burgers, some southern flair that includes dishes with grits and others with black eyed peas, and southeastern touch on a classic southwestern appetizer, nachos, but not any type, a pulled pork nachos with shredded apples and topped with roasted jalapenos (my mouth is beginning to water.)  Most of the food is local within 100 miles of the place when ever they can which makes them pretty socially conscience.

To wash down this great food they have an ever changing selection of craft beers which are locally brewed and others that make their way from the west coast and great lakes region.  They also have a bottle list for craft beers. The also have wines if beer is not your thing and the also have a full bar.  They also serve up Bud and Bud light for those who are not that adventurist.  Going to this place that have a little something for everybody and they flavor and the tasty food they make is terrific!

This place is a gem and I hope you like as much as I have.  I have been there at least 8-10 times since they opened and not one time has been a disappointment.

Went in for lunch today, and without a full house the noise was way down, so I could hear the rest of the table.

The local beef burger was solid and the fries and house-made ketchup were rockin'.
Also had one of the many beers available and all-in-all this was really good.

If they could just find a way to fix the acoustics we would visit more often!

Pardon my ignorance, but I had no idea that places this F'n sweet existed in Peekskill, NY.  I was on an autumnal-weekend-getaway from Brooklyn, and I luckily found this wonderful establishment.

-amazing selection of alcohol, with a huge focus on new york state breweries
-tantalizing menu, with a huge focus on local ingredients and meat sourced from a farm 5 miles away.
-hudson valley cheese and house-made charcuterie
-the menu hovers somewhere in between new american, french, and classic bar food.  all of it inspired and exciting.
-many options involving their succulent pulled pork (nachos! pork and stout chilli!)
-wicked cool server who gave my girlfriend props for adding bacon to her beet and grain burger.

    The clencher: it's HISTORICAL, to boot.  [  <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DpF3cMp0FXhc%26feature%3Dplayer_embedded&s=c12b6dea04e1f50a5c1d8634f54744b501dd5f1b14df065d3b7f2cbdb60aaed4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/w…</a> ]

    Sit down.
Now look up-- over the door where you came in-- YEP, that's the beer list in chalk sprawled across the top of that wall. I'm sure there's an architectural word for that.  "The wall over the door".  An expansive list to say the least.  Who knows if they have them all.  I ordered the Brooklyn Spiced something or another and it was sweet and awesome.

Their food is rich and tasty and BIG.  I felt like it was a little pricey for what the menu says the food is-- but when you get it, you'll be like "OH...OK"  Waiter/Bartender/ possibly the person who cooked our food was very nice.  It took a while to get fed, but hey--this isn't McWhatevers.

I would definitely come back.  I went on a rainy day, but they have outdoor seating too.

If you live around here and you want to eat with 1 or 3 other people who like beer and food-- try it.

This place was recommended to us by a friend, and it didn't disappoint! They make everything on the menu in-house (yes, even the ketchup is homemade and delicious!), and they have a lot of microbrews and craft beers to choose from. The beer list is great because it gives you a lot of information about each beer, which my husband was really happy about.

The food was phenomenal! We had the mac & cheese with sweet potato, bacon and smoked almonds as an appetizer. This really showed off the quality of the local ingredients. It was served over some greens with sage oil, which didn't seem like it would work together, but it totally did. My husband had the jambalaya for dinner, which had pulled pork, shrimp and their house-made smoked andouille. He said the sausage was spectacular. I had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was perfection. It was on a cranberry multigrain bread with some really tasty garlic aioli and pickled carrots.

The only words of caution I have about this place are to make reservations, because it's PACKED. And also be prepared to drive around for a while to look for parking on the street.

We stopped by here last night b/c we had heard very good things about this local place near our house. They have a very wide selection of crafts beers, in both draft and bottles. Their philosophy is to use ingredients grown locally and in season, which you can definitely tell when you're deciding on what to order and reading the description of each dish.

We started off with the BBQ pulled pork nachos - these were RIDICULOUS! The pulled pork itself was great and it was combined with apple salsa, blue tortilla chips and black bean puree = so good. I ordered the Sixpoint Vienna Ale which is a nice pale ale draft. My wife started off with their Crossroads Raspberry Beret which was also good.

After cleaning off the nachos plate, we then ordered the Sweet Potato and Bacon Mac N Cheese. This was so freaking good and definitely the BEST BACON I have ever had! The bartender told us that it's fresh cut everyday and the chef/owner cures his own bacon...RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! It sat over a small bed of baby arugula, topped with sage oil...seriously, who thinks of this? I then drank an Empire Cream Ale, which was alright and my wife got a Cider draft, she liked it.

I finished with a Sixpoint Vienna Ale, a good IPA. We had their Maple and Bacon Ice Cream. This has bits of bacon in the ice cream with apple butter, bourbon caramel and candied pecans. The waffles that came with this were made of corn meal and I wasn't really digging on them.

Overall, this place is great and we're definitely going back to try some of the entrees like their buttermilk fried chicken and biscuits or shrimp and grits. My wife kept likening this place to a pregnant woman's dream b/c the food is so good and just downright tasty.

This place fucking sucks.....With a capital S, $13 for a Burger in Peekskill
?? Are you serious?? Come on its Peekskill not NYC, I understand they are trying to compete with the Peekskill Brewery (Which is fairly priced) But come on!!! Not to mention THEY DONT HAVE WINGS ON THE MENU?? What kind of bar that serves food in this day and age doesn't serve wings?? Come on, seriously !! I recommended going there if you have a art degree from  NYU or Columbia and your a pretentious bastard thats above everyone and you don't mind blowing $100 on dinner and a few drinks in PEEKSKILL. This over priced lame try to be hipster bar might as well serve there food on square plates. That place sucks!!! I will never go back again

So upon walking in I see the telltale signs of hipsterdom.....great.  Waiters with those stupid thick black glasses, the bathroom had old nudie mags framed, basically not really my speed.  Luckily they were playing good music, not something on a xylophone.

I had the Crossroads Red Ale to start.  It was really good.  Had a great flavor, not much of an aftertaste.  We split the NY cheese plate and pulled pork nachos.  The cheese plate was a good size with 3 cheeses, apple butter, polenta, and mustard.  The pulled pork nachos were really good, but small.  They also could have used a bit more pulling, since there were globs of meat.

My main course was the blackened shrimp and grits.  It came in a huge bowl with 5 wonderfully plump and cooked to perfection shrimp.  The grits were also phenominal.  The bowl was so big though I could not finish.

For dessert we all tried the maple bacon ice cream.  It was super good, but strange.  I'm not used to having meat in my ice cream.  I really liked it though.  All in all a good meal.
