  Definitely a "dive bar,"  but it is a safe place.  I spoke to the owner, and a few of the regulars.  I was very happy with my visit and am looking forward to stopping by for another quick visit when time allows.

  Love love love this place.  It's chill and has great beer on tap. Played Shuffle board for the first time and it was soo much fun. It's small but has lots of personality. Service is great; the few regulars that we met were fun and friendly. I would definitely come back. Oh and their juke box is stocked with really good music no matter what you are into.

  I gotta say this is one of my favorite dive bars!!! Great beers on tap and great prices!  They even have happy hr specials from like 7am-10am, no joke!  Obviously for people working graveyard shifts but I've been known to play some saturday morning hockey and then go grab a cold one right after and have a breakfast burrito delivered to you at the bar!  Awesome shuffleboard  table too!  
  
  And their neighbors are great, great mexican food next door, not to mention you can get your palm read and then go get a tattoo afterward.  If you're in the San Gabriel Valley and like dive bars, The Bit is a must!

  Let's be honest, if you have ever been here, you know how cool it is to get a 24 oz. ice cold beer for 3 bucks!  I love this place!  I used to come here alot when I was younger, because it's stumble-home distance from my parents house.  They have managed to pack all the necessities in this small cozy joint.  A shuffleboard table (where do you ever see that anymore?), darts, a jukebox, a plethora of flatscreens with sports all over the place, and friendly service.  Not to mention, there's a taco joint next door that will deliver your food right to your barstool.  It's an older, mellow crowd, never any trouble like that other craphole down the street that truly is a shady place.  The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of five is because I love me an occasional shot of jagermeister, and this is a beer and wine bar only.  Nonetheless, the best one that I know of!
