Attended a group function for 50 last night and wow, were we impressed. Lots of different beers on tap and by the bottle. Twisted Tea on tap? Yes indeed. Fabulous jukebox offering everything under the sun. Super atmosphere.

Our group had a buffet dinner with an appetizer course (calimari, wings, fried pickles, and stuffed bread) and an entree course (Shephard's Pie, Reuben Sliders, Irish Chicken and Potatoes. and Scalloped Potatoes. The food was stellar, really -everything was outstanding. The chef came out to check on us and see how we liked the food, he was a nice guy and was obviously proud of what he cooked for us. Our server who ran around restocking the plates and silverware was cute as a button, with a personality to match, and was very efficient.

Room for improvement? It would have been nice to have more than one bartender all night. For long stretches there was just one bartender for our thirsty horde.

All in all - we liked the place a lot and have received many e-mails from our group saying how much fun they had

Cold bar, Cold beers good selection too. Bartenders are good too and stay on top of taking the air out of your glass. Had some good bar food too...try the deep fried battered pickles! I know, it sounds gross but they are tasty! They also have a 100 inch projection TV with a pretty good picture.
Watch out though, its in a strip type mall and set back...very easy to pass.

Blackstone is meh. I went here to hang out with friends, because they wanted to watch the Dark Saints band play. In some regards it reminds me of another Murphy's & Scarletti's (Farmington) and the likes of those. They have some good beer in bottle like Dog Fish Head. I guess it's a decent venue for up and coming bands to play.

Blackstone Pub is a very cool bar--plenty of seating in main area--large pool table area and a great marble bar with plenty of monitors to watch games--have not ate a lot but this is always a good stop off the Rails to Trails in Southington to get a cold one--Miller Drafts are always $2 --can't beat that--check it out

Was in the area at the muffin factory and noticed this pub for the first time. Saw beer and wing special so decided to try that day with a friend for happy hour.
2$ coors light pints and .50 cent wings.
Ordered the hot buffalo, spicy BBQ, honey hot and grilled Italian.

Good size wings, buffalo not really super hot but that to be expected.
Out of all I would say I liked the buffalo, then BBQ, itialinan a then honey hot last.

Tom the chef came out, spoke to us about wings and said he could increase the heat next time.

I will return especially at happy hour 3-6

Seating or this place was really lacking.  The site is very deceptive 2 floor night club.... Hardly floor two is empty and for parties only.  Overall a pretty terrible experience.

This bar has a great atmosphere and decor however the bouncers are the absolute worst and they are the first person a newcomer to the bar would see. They are 40+ former steroid addicts who think they are in the CIA. Absolutely no personality. As much as I wouldn't mind at all going back, the bouncers gave me a bad impression BOTH times I have been there and until they are gone, I will not be seen there again!

This is a nice new Irish bar in a random store parking lot on mw turnpike. Drink specials were good. Been there twice-Friday night-busy with with 20-30-somethings. Music so loud you couldn't hear anyone talk. Another night I stopped in on a weeknight with an out of state visitor to find we were the only ones in the bat at 1015p. I would like to try the food there, I hope they get some Irish music there. that would really help give the place  a Celtic feel. To me, it feels like a sports bar with an irish flag out front

Cool new Irish pub in the neighborhood. Went here after work on St. Patricks day for a quick beer with the crew, five or six later it was still a nice place. Walking into a new bar the first time you never know what to expect and the location and exterior had me expecting very little, but this place is a real nice pub with a semi-authentic Irish feel. Darts upstairs (real and soft tip), some video games, lots of TVs downstairs and a bunch of tables upstairs each with their own TVs. Good mix of people when we were here even though it was its first week of being open. Decent selection of beers - even though it was bottles only until the kegs are installed.
