Blue Bird Cocktails

As stated by Amanda P. this place probably got an extra star because its withing walking distance of my house. I went on a Saturday with a few co workers and we had a good time. The drinks seemed reasonable $5 for a vodka cran. The bartender "T" was super cool, she took 5 shots with us, and made us her special drink called the Bay Area. They have a juke box, and a pool table.

If your looking for a spot to socialize and meet new people this is not the place, but if you wanna have a drink at a low key spot Blue Bird is the spot.

Ok, so if I didn't live in San Leandro, my rating might not be so high, but being a local, I have to give it a high 5. This bar is within walking distance to our house, making it ultra accessible. We've grown to love all the regulars, and the variety of bartenders. Go on Thursday or Friday, when Nikki is the bartender, and she'll create a potion that will keep you coming back for more. The juke box has a huge variety of tunes, and once in a while there is a DJ mixing it up old school. For a dive bar, it has everything you could want - pool table, strong drinks, and a fun atmosphere.

there's one pool table here, a junk box,  a long bar, and some tables for sitdown. they are not open for lunch, only evenings. i saw 2 bartenders here. one slender black lady and an overendowed 40DD youngish white lady who leans over often.

overpriced liquor and overendowments are a turnoff for me.
