Dick's Restaurant & Cocktails

Found out that Dicks had new owners an were changing up the menu, going back to fresh cooked food, and the service was gonna be better. Well the food was good BUT the service STILL sucks!!!!!
We used to go here all the time, since its right around the corner, but we stopped about 10 years ago because the food was going DownHill and the service sucked ass!
They now have to get new servers, because the service stilllll sucks ass! We'll go back to Elios...... So much to restoring everything back to it's glory days.

07/12/2013 - Just read in the San Leandro Patch they are having another grand reopening. The interesting line in the story was  "When he first bought Dick's in January, there were 70 frozen boxes in the fridge. He said there are now only three." We'll give it a few months before we try it again.

Dick's has had it's challenges the last few years.  Unfortunately getting ownership back after retirement took it's toll on a wonderful man, Herb Dick who passed away in May 2013.  His son, Chef Don D, has taken over and has brought fresh food, fresh ideas and fresh energy with him.  My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast there on Saturday.  So far... I highly recommend.  I'm back doing karaoke on Friday's 9 to 1:30am.
