Super-sized portions not atypical of Indiana- attentive service with a warm, modern decor. Blueberry Hill is a nice family friendly restaurant for post-church feeding. The menu offers a wide selection of egg dishes- frittatas, omelets, eggs benedict, etc.
A nice touch are the mini blueberry muffins that are brought to the table upon seating- however, I wish they were moist and warm. Rather, they were a bit stale.
Prices are reasonable and comparable to the Mark or Uptown Kitchen. Breakfast for two, with coffee was $21.
A friend of mine joked about my check-in at Blueberry Hill, asking me if I "found my thrill". My response was, "Obviously, you've never had breakfast here."
The steak I had was chargrilled instead of fried, which made it more savory and the potatoes had a wonderful flavor and consistency. The waitress, Lesley, was very attentive and had never once let my drink reach the bottom of the glass.
I try to make it there at least once a week and hope that you will too.
Pancakes are HUGE! Â Steak over cooked with Steak and Eggs. Â Great service and friendly atmosphere, a bit pricey. Â Owner very friendly. Â He asked about my husbands steak and he told him it was over cooked, he said he was the 2nd one to say that and he would take care of it but that was it. Â Strange if you ask me.
