Honkers Family Restaurant

I went with my grandma for the Friday fish fry. 8.99 for all you can eat... the vegetable soup was tasty as was the fish. good experience overall.

This Honkers is similar to its South Bend counterpart, although I like the South Bend one better.  This one has an airier atmosphere, but for whatever reason it tends to be busier, especially on Sunday mornings, so it can take a while to be seated and served.

They sell homemade greeting cards at the cash register, and I just had to buy the one with Jesus sitting in a clearing looking up to the sky.  But he wasn't contemplating God the Father; rather, he was looking directly at an American flag waving in the breeze.  If they had had 1,000 of those cards, I would have bought every one.
