5-Stars all the way:
BBQ fans, rejoice! Â I'm going to let you in on a little secret... I have found the best BBQ in the area - bar none. Â Fisher's Tips is some serious eats. Â I love, love, love this place and am kind of hesitant telling anyone about it because I want to keep it all to myself. Â This stuff is GOOD and they sell out quickly on the weekends. Â I have gotten carry out of their tips, the ribs, the chicken, the sausage, the pulled pork, the mac and cheese, and their peach cobbler. Â All the meats are full of smokey goodness. Â Their BBQ sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Â While it is much thinner than most sauces you'll find at BBQ joints around here, I think it really lets the flavor of the meat shine through. Â After all, that's what it is all about - the meat! Â When I eat at other BBQ places, too often I find that all I can taste is the sauce. Â That's not the case here. Â I am so glad I found this place. Â I drove by it lots of times, but didn't realize what I was passing up. Â The owners are some of the most genuinely nice and caring people I have ever met. Â Go there once and you'll feel like part of the family. Â I hope you try this place and like it as much as I do. Â
Helpful hints: Â
Get there before 6p.m. on the weekends as they tend to sell out of the most popular items. Â
Try everything at least once - definitely get the tips. Â Best tips I have ever had! A medium tip will easily feed 2 people and it's under 11 bucks.
Go for some sides... mac and cheese, this ain't your mom's Kraft mac'n'cheese - this is the good stuff.
Try that peach cobbler. Â It's addictive!
Get a sampler and try it all - It's enough to feed 3 or 4 Â people for under $30.
