Mandarin House Restaurant

Mandarin House is your standard Chinese restaurant.  It's been around for years and the last time we ate in, it seemed a little tattered and worn, which doesn't matter much to us since we typically get carry out.

It seems like no matter what or how much we order, it's always ready in 10 minutes!  Our favorites include the Szechuan Chicken with Peanuts, Szechuan String Beans, Mongolian Beef and Chicken with Snow Peas (which I happen to find bland and boring, but my husband loves).

The eggs rolls are always crispy and the hot and sour soup is consistently good.  Nothing really wows with this place, but it does hit the spot for your standard Chinese food craving.

Great vegetable dishes and shrimp moo shu was very tasty. We went on Christmas eve with a big group. The wait staff was super busy, but helped us and our complicated huge order. I did not try the beef and chicken dishes, but everyone else really enjoyed them. We all agreed that we should go back soon. Price seemed very reasonable as well.

Excellent food for the price - very fresh and always more than one needs at one serving which is delicious the next day! Im a pescetarian so my reviews can be limited but the shrimp and vegitables is delicious in a light garlic sauce with leaks and many other fresh veggies. Very hearty. I did wait a touch longer than I was quoted but it was definitely worth it for this calibur of take-out and there is a discount if you spend over 15 dollars, easy to do when the food is this good.
