We moved and after a day of unloading the trailer we were trying to think of what we were hungry for becauase we didn't have anything in the fridge yet. And neither of us had a hankering for anything in particular, we were just hungry and wanted some "comfort" food. So we decided on Bob Evans.
This Bob Evans is in a real good location to be recognized, but don't miss your turn, as the turn in is actually right before you approach the restaurant. We made this mistake and therefore had to turn around and go thru the CVS parking lot to get to it.
Bob Evans offers traditional American comfort food. They serve breakfast all day, have a variety of soups, and make fresh bread to serve on the side, not to mention the ever legendary Bob Evans Sausage which is available in most grocery stores.
This evening we were REAL hungry. They do offer fresh brewed sweet tea here as well as the aforementioned  warm rolls, make sure you get extra butter as they are real fluffy. To start I opted for a new "seasonal" soup/chili called Sausage Chili that is made with..you guessed it..Bob Evans Sausage. It was quite intersting as I would never have thought to put a breakfast sausage into a chili. It wasn't bad at all....just interesting. Worth a try at least and they will bring you a sample.
For dinner I went non comfort food (i know thats what i originally went there for) because I saw this tasty Crispy Chicken Chipotle BLT on the menu that was calling my name. It was brought out nie and hot, but sadly I didn't think the Chipotle sauce melded well. I asked for a side of ranch and that made all the difference. So if you order it perhaps ask for the sauce on the side and perhaps try the ranch with it, I think it just changes the sandwiches dynamics.
It was later dinner (8:30pm) but the service was still good. I appreciate that as I know they are trying to get their nighly cleaning done and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Overall a good dining experience and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
