The Fifth Quarter Sports Bar & Pizzeria

The food is just ok.  The atmosphere is great for watching sports or hosting a happy hour.  They have a lot of televisions and an decent selection of beer.  The pizza wasn't great (it was much better at Vertucci's -- which inhabited the building prior to this restaurant).  The salad was really not worth it.  The chicken wings are not bad.  I'd go back to watch a game, but not if I'm hungry.  I'm hoping the food will improve as the place matures.

Excellent sports bar and pizzeria. The foods feature some classic Chicago style sandwiches - Italian beef, Italian sausage, meatball, burgers, wraps, etc...They also offer "100% made from scratch" pizzas.

I selected the Italian beef, dipped in aus jus. The beef was piled high and was very tasty. The wife had the Italian sausage, maxwell street style, which featured mustard grilled onion and a pickle spear. The pickle spear on the sandwich was a first for her but surprizingly she enjoyed it. Fries also came with the sandwiches. Food and bottled beer was reasonalbly priced.  Five dollar pitchers - a special while we were there.

Great atmosphere for a casual night eating out or getting together with friends.
