Good place to hang out before a movie at the theater next door. Â Friendly place with mainly male clientele, but quiet and reasonably priced drinks. Â Atmosphere is Irish Pub style and small area. Â Moral or loud crazy music. Â A good place to have a brew - my choice is a guineas, though they do not have it on tap. Â Anyway, a decent quiet pub.
Review Source:Definitely a hole in the wall bar. Â Drinks are a little pricier than they should be at $3 for a beer and $6 for a mixed drink. Â But the service is pretty good, the clientele are normal people. Â They have a pool table, an internet jukebox, and a dance floor. Â Bands range from mediocre to awesome (awesome being their Tues. band). Â Be advised, you can smoke in this bar and it can get pretty soupy in there.
Review Source:Bob's is the hole in the wall of Lafayette. I happen to be partial to a hole in the wall bar from time to time. They have live music on the weekends and it's usually a good time. Friendly bartenders and they also have NTN trivia. But like any other hole in the wall bar... guard your woman. I've yet to go there with a woman whether it be a date or just a friend and not have some cheese ball hit on her which I just ignore, but still in all.
