We usually sit in the bar area and the service is good. My husband likes the Asian Salmon. I love the Mediterranean salad its very refreshing and the pizzas go well with it. The place is clean, the service is good, the food is good and there's sports on the TVs. Oh and the dinning room is perfect for when we bring the grandchildren.

I stopped in here after my son had a game in La Pine. We wanted something other than fast food, and at 830 at night, we thought hey, great place. Oh and this was on a Tuesday as well. Get up to the doors to find out, BAM, locked, closed, we are not going to seat anyone. Really, things are soo good that you can afford to close at 830 and leave three other vehicles out in the parking lot going up to the door looking for food!?!?! Really.

The tell tale should have been there stupid hours sign that reads "Open daily from 11AM until

Yep, nothing filled in there. I wonder if people just decided to not show up to work if they would close at say 4PM. With all the people I had with me, probably would have easily ended up spending a couple hundred here, instead went across the parking lot to Subway and spent almost $85 just on sandwiches. Your loss Boston!!!

Haven't been here for awhile.  Maybe a year?  Or my last review?  Anyway, long time.
Decided to meet up with some friends yesterday (Sept 8) for apps, beer and Duck football.

Service was ok.  Nice enough but not attentive or fast enough.  The place wasn't crowded by any means, so it was noticeably slow.

Food was also just ok.  Nothing to write home about and say, "You gotta try this place!"  Had several appetizers and then a pizza.  My wife likes the crust but she said, "Wow--it's just lacking something.  The sauce?  I don't know but it's kinda bland."

When all was said and done, $65 not including tip.  I felt it was cheaper than previous Duck Football visits ordering lots of beer and appetizers, but maybe I didn't eat as much either.

To be brutally honest, I don't know how they are making it.  Maybe there is a regular crowd from the south end of town?  Maybe they have deep pockets that can fund an under performing store?  It's just an OK place.  And in today's times, OK places have typically brought the standard up or shut the doors.  Neither has happened at Bostons and it perplexes me.

I'm sure we'll go back sometime.  When the mood hits.  When the stars align and it just seems like the place to go.

A strong recommendation from me?  I think not.  2 stars max.  "Meh.  I've experienced better."

Talk about potential, but without substance.
Service: I sat at the bar for 5 minutes with one other couple and waited for my bartender to complete his story about how drunk he was last night before he acknowledged me. Ordered a happy hour beer like my fellow patron, but was served in a pint glass while the other was served in a stein (friends).
Food: This is a pizza place? I think it should be called Totinos pizza after the frozen pizzas you buy for $.99 at the grocery store. The error is found in the sauce, crust, and amount of toppings provided.
    So why 2 stars?
Atmosphere was comfortable and the large TVs are a great place to watch a game.

Well at least there was no wait. My wife ordered the French Dip and noticed after a few bites the bread was moldy. The manager took it back and did not charge us for it. But did not offer any replacement meal. She got a bad meal and went away hungry. Will never go back.

My family and I have visited this establishment located in Bend, Oregon on two separate occasions. On our first visit we were accommodated quickly by the hostess when it came to getting a table. However, as we sat there for 25 minutes, the waiter, waitress, never stopped by our table to take our orders, and no it was not busy. At that point we had concluded that we had waited long enough and decided to leave. As for the second time, a year and a half had passed since our first experience, so we decided to try it again in hopes of better service. To our dismay it was very similar to our first visit, except for this time there was no hostess, nor any other employee in sight as we stood there for nearly 10 minutes. When the waiter finally did appear he mumbled something incomprehensible and kept right on walking. I could perhaps understand if the place were extremely busy, but there were only 4 other patrons, at 2 separate tables, in the entire restaurant at that time. As I found out later from talking with others this is typical customer service from this specific Bostons, and my family and I WILL NEVER GO BACK there because of it!

We stopped in on Saturday evening and sat in the bar area. Yay, no kids!  The barkeeper ( Matty) was attentive and quick. We ordered two salads and a flatbread pizza. The food was fresh and was served quickly - very tasty too.

I agree with the previous Yelpers who state that this place is just another crappy chain restaurant.  Totally cafeteria atmosphere with well below average food that all tastes super processed.  The husband insisted we try this place since we've driving past it for a couple of years now.  In the future we'll keep on driving.

We ordered the boneless chicken wings an individual size florentine pizza and an indy Sicilian pizza.  The pizzas were well below average and definitely not worth $10 a pop.  The wings were little over-fried nuggets of nasty with Frank's Hot Sauce drizzled skimpily over the top.  Gross.  Additionally, my raspberry mojito was weak.  Toss in two Deschutes brews for the husband and our bill came to $48.  Booo!  You can get a MUCH better meal for two elsewhere in Bend for fifty bucks.

Oh, and our server was nothing to write home about and took forever and a day to bring my husband's second beer and never brought us water even though we asked twice.

And the kicker to this one star dining experience?  I just heard the husband say, "Ugh, that food isn't sitting well with me..."  And I'm in agreement.  Total gut bomb.  Thanks a lot, Boston's.

Save yourself from dissapointment by not coming here to eat. I had read the reviews and warned my fiance, but he was really craving wings this afternoon.  As we did not expect much, we did not expect to recieve undercooked wings and still be charged for it. We told the bartender they were not cooked and he stated they were cooked.  There was no sense of arguing, but you could tell from our still full  plate of wings that we were not going to risk it.

Boston's is on par with a TGI Fridays or Applebees type place. The interior is generically decorated, there are sullen high school waiters, and the menu is loaded up with burgers, fried foods covered in cheese, and pizza.  It would be just average but their prices are a tad too high for what the food is so I think it's a little worse than average. I had:

    - Florentine Pizza: I'm impressed with the fact that they had an interesting vegetarian pizza as an option as opposed to just cheese. The sauce is average, the crust is not remarkable but not terrible, and the toppings were good. I think any national chain's pizza is better, and a whole lot cheaper.
    - Greek Salad: This could have been good if it didn't come covered in wayyyy too much feta cheese, as in the entire top was covered white. The ingredients were fresh and the size was good.
    - Cheesy Fries: It's hard to mess this up. Fries topped like nachos served with a particularly good ranch dipping sauce.

Ugh. We drove by this place several times before we finally decided to try it. Seemed ok from the outside. Obviously a chain but perhaps they could get it right and it could be a nice back up thats kid-friendly when our favorites restaurants are too busy. But they got nothing right. It looks like a cafeteria on the inside - not a sports bar/restaurant which is what I expected. Super cheesy and low rent. Food was ok but not worth ever going back. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

We were in a hurry the other night and stopped into Boston's because it was close.  The place was empty and seemed to stay that way - we arrived after 5pm.  We were seated quickly and the our order taken.  I ordered a salad and when it was delivered I remembered how big they are!  This salad could feed a family of 4 with no problem.  Needless to say I could only eat about 1/3 of it and the rest was a waste.  There were more than a few pieces of brown lettuce and there was water in the bottom of the salad.  My husband ordered a personal pizza and side salad.  The salad was fresh and the pizza was just ok.
We've been here more than once and I've never really been wow'd.
