The Box

Passing through town and staying near by, I decided to stop by The Box to unwind for the night.

I wouldn't classify the bar as being a dive bar but rather divey.  It is located off the lobby of a hotel so from what I could tell, it is primarily travelers who would frequent this place rather than locals who would be the patrons.

The bartender was cool, pours were stiff and pretty cheap.

For your entertainment needs, you can play some darts or shoot some pool while enjoying your drink.  I did neither and opted to sit at the bar and watch what was on the television.

The Box isn't a place I'd seek out but it place that that I wouldn't hesitate to return if staying in the area as the people let you be and generally are quite friendly.

Fun, low-key bar with dart boards,  pool tables, blackjack and pull-tab happy hour!  Fun place to meet my friends!
