Old Broadway

Probably a 3.5 of 5.  The food is mediocre but the menu has a good variety and the staff is friendly.  We have never eaten anywhere but at the bar, so I am not sure about service in a booth.

Who would have thought that a restaurant in Fargo has international connections! The fish used for the fish fry comes from Lake Victoria in Africa according to the manager. And it's outstanding. It's even a tad better than the fish at Hodo Lounge, and I went nuts over that. That and a fresh squeezed lemonade were a great start to a Friday. I try not to repeat places I'm visiting, but I'll always hit  Old Broadway.

I did not eat at this place, so can't comment on the food. A friend and I went on a little bar crawl to see what Fargo had to offer, so this was our first stop I think. The bartenders were nice & we got beverages in hand relatively quickly, so that made me happy. They also make a pretty decent dirty martini! The mixed drinks were a little light on the alcohol, but overall not a bad place to grab a drink. It's kinda loud, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation with someone. I wouldn't mind stopping in for a drink again.
