Silver Dollar

Was in the Silver Dollar Bar for the first time ever Saturday about 7pm.  A friend told me the Big Pig Sandwich is a must try and the best burgers in town! I thought it was a biker bar so I was expecting a rough crowd in a dank place but was pleasantly surprised!  Atmosphere was clean and modern, good lighting and pleasant music that wasn't too loud.  Our server was prompt and polite. The crowd was mixed ages   I had the the Pig Big Sandwich w fries....It was awesome and huge. I took half home!  My husband had the Gomer burger w Onion rings.  It had a peanut butter, bacon & cheese on it....once again pleasantly surprised!  We each had a few beers. The tap selection was good but not great.  The server told us about some new tap beers  coming in October and offered us a list with the bottled beer selections. After dinner we lost $20 bucks at the black jack table and $20 more in pull tabs...o well! Thankfully our food/beer tab was very reasonable!  As we were leaving a bean bag tournament was starting...looked like fun. Maybe next time. We will be back for sure and plan to recommend it to our friends! Thanks!

I went to the Silver Dollar for lunch.   They have a friendly Staff and a good selection of tasty 1/2 pound Burgers. Reasonable prices.
