JL Beers

I was travelling to Fargo from CA. Fell upon this joint by accident...no regrets. A VERY eclectic crowd and fine choice of beers. Their burgers are by far the best I have had in some time with their fresh cut potato chips w/sea salt were the BOMB! I will be back to Fargo and I will be back to JL Beers...a must for myself or any other traveler.

I went in on a Saturday around noon.  I must have gotten there in the nick of time because not even 10 minutes later there were no seats to be had.  The ambiance is perfect.  It's very laid back and the service is quick.  I didn't have much interaction with the staff other then ordering my food and saying "Thank you," but they seemed very nice.

Now for the food, which is what matters.  I ordered the Rajun Cajun...HOLY CRAP, it was a good decision!  Tasty burger, cooked to perfection, with pepperjack cheese, onions, lime sauce, among some other stuff.  You definitely can't beat the price either.  I paid $4 something for the burger and $2 for the soda.  All the sides are a la cart, which was kinda ehhh, but I was full off the burger.

I definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch or to sit and chat.

This place is awesome. Probably in my top 10 of burgers ever. If they added hand cut onion rings, it would be heaven. The hand cut chips are special. Come to Fargo....eat here...go home.
