I was travelling to Fargo from CA. Fell upon this joint by accident...no regrets. A VERY eclectic crowd and fine choice of beers. Their burgers are by far the best I have had in some time with their fresh cut potato chips w/sea salt were the BOMB! I will be back to Fargo and I will be back to JL Beers...a must for myself or any other traveler.
Review Source:I went in on a Saturday around noon. Â I must have gotten there in the nick of time because not even 10 minutes later there were no seats to be had. Â The ambiance is perfect. Â It's very laid back and the service is quick. Â I didn't have much interaction with the staff other then ordering my food and saying "Thank you," but they seemed very nice.
Now for the food, which is what matters. Â I ordered the Rajun Cajun...HOLY CRAP, it was a good decision! Â Tasty burger, cooked to perfection, with pepperjack cheese, onions, lime sauce, among some other stuff. Â You definitely can't beat the price either. Â I paid $4 something for the burger and $2 for the soda. Â All the sides are a la cart, which was kinda ehhh, but I was full off the burger.
I definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch or to sit and chat.
