Brick House Bar and Grill

Great neighborhood bar.  Good food and good prices.  They have some decent happy hour deals.  Best place in Manayunk to watch the bike race.  They just got one of those new TouchTunes jukeboxes installed...this is the coolest thing!

Hole in the wall bar.  This is definitely a "local" Roxborough spot, not a "I graduated from St Joes last year" spot.  Cheap beer, old school Roxborough folks.That's cool with me.

My problem is with the food.  It took them 45 minutes to make us some cheese fries and "best wings in tri-state".  I don't know who voted them the best wings, but trust me when I say they are awful.  Bony, cheap wings, deep fried all crusty and smothered in a sauce that was all heat but lacking flavor.  

No thanks.

Shady people, check.  Cheap beer, check.  Golden tee, check. Darts, check.  Still allows smoking, check.  This is my dive bar!  And scary enough some of the best wings I've ever had.  Too much rap on the jukebox,  rap on a jukebox isn't dive!
