Great place, I dont know about cheap, but i think it's standard. Although they gave a bigger room for the price of smaller one. As far as music selection? It was very limited. I did ask for gangnam style, they dont have it, at least in the room that we were at, and not even my fav song, the hottest song in the summer 2012, Call Me Maybe. So i guess song selection is important for me! But overall, my friends and I had a great time, singing our hearts out! :)
Oh also, I didnt find this in any other karaoke places I went to, the disposible mic cover! I tend to sing which my lips close to the mic so it was great that I dont have to worry the fact that the mic had been in other people's lips!
As a karaoke fiend, I give Music City my seal of approval. Decided to stop by here on a drunken whim, and had a blast. The starting rate is $30 per hour for a room for up to four people. The owner is incredibly friendly and services all the rooms himself, down to making cocktails himself. Try a Snapple with soju! The owner is very accommodating, down to giving us a pitcher and pretzels to munch on.
I find the system here infinitely less frustrating to use than the one at Yakitori Boy, which kept glitching on me last time I was there. Yeah, it's all in Korean, but all you need to know is that the green button queues your song, the big circle button puts your song in immediately, and the red rectangular button cancels the current song (someone please correct me if my memory's off).
Clean, not seedy, and a comfortable atmosphere for all. There's a private lot, too! It's a bit far for me to travel, but I'd gladly make the trip back for another fun night of song and drink.
We went for a friend's bachelorette party. Â It was so much fun! Â Private karaoke is definitely better than regular karaoke--you can sing what you want and you don't have to wait. Â The song selection was pretty good--kind of random but there was definitely a lot of English-language songs. Â We had no trouble with the remote--the employee showed us what buttons to press, so there was no trouble that everything was in Korean. Â Beer was a good deal, but the mixed drinks were rather pricey. Â The people working were really nice and helpful.
I would definitely go back!
