Sabor Latino Restaurant - Night Club

If you want authentic Latino food then try Sabor Latino. it is a mixture of Latin cuisines from Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia. The upstairs is still a nightclub on weekends. They also have a Happy Hour. We had a peaceful and delicious lunch. Now when we want Authentic Latino, we will come to this restaurant.

We went with a group of 8 on a friday night and the chips and green salsa came right out.  Wonderful!  The sangria and magarita pitchers were great as well.  The food was excellent, BUT we were one of a few tables and it took an hour for our dinners to come to the table.  The food came out a few dishes at a time, and we felt awkward eating while others in the party didn't have their food.  The management and staff was friendly, but didn't have much of an explanation for the slow service.  

We then enjoyed the dancing upstairs (although there was a separate cover charge).  We were made to feel very welcome.

I've held a few events at Sabor Latino and the owner and staff are always eager to please. They serve a mix of foods from around Latin America: Mexican, Ecuadorian, Colombian and Cuban.  It's not as confusing as you might think based ont hat.  I've never had a bad dinner here and the Fajitas are delish.    Best Mojitos I've ever had as well.  

On weekend nights the upstairs is transformed into a night club, that caters to the growing Latin community in Upper Darby and the surrounding areas but it is not exclusively Latino.  I've never felt too out of place there as a big ol Gringa on a weekend night, but it's been a while since I've rolled up there for the night club.
